Location, staff , cleaness and balcony is plus

Nothing particular but below items need to be considered for future enhancement 1-Room is small but ok for one 2- any conatruction outside, you can hear it , thus window with good sound insulation needs to be improved

The room walls seemed quite thin — I could hear water running even after midnight and could also hear conversations from nearby rooms. The bed was quite squeaky and uncomfortable, and I was worried about making noise that might disturb guests downstairs. I wanted to let you know in case this can be improved for future guests.

New beds and a newly renovated bathroom. Super quiet and smack in the middle. Subway just around the corner. Fine the furniture might be dated but the bed and pillow was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever had.

It was clean. Room needs to be painted a little here and there but is clean and everything works fine. Good shower, bad is fine, good air conditioning. The staff is friendly. If you are looking for something right in the heart of Madrid I believe this is a great choice. But the room itself is not worth more than 80,90 euros. The position does make the deal. For a short stay it is perfect as long as you don't pay more than 100 in my opinion.

Location was amazing, the price was good. They transferred us to another room due to my safe box request. However the safe box was broken ? at least they tried to help us.

They dont have a safe box in renovated rooms. They also dont have mini fridgein any of the rooms .

Great location and a charming hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable – everything you need for a short stay. The price was fair.

Wi-Fi barely reached our room. The reception staff were kind, but communication was challenging – with my limited Spanish and no English spoken on their end, simple things like giving my room number sometimes led to confusion.

Very good shower pressure, loads of hot water.Toiletries provided. Very friendly staff.

No fridge in the room. No signage for the entrance to the cafe next door.

The location was good, closer to the city center

The staff did not speak English and there was a loud noise in the room every time some other rooms were using the bathroom and were flushing. My husband and I could not sleep as the noise kept waking us up all the time. I definitely do not recommend the place.

The view from the windom was on the another buildings wall. Place felt a bit depressive to be into. But as I was in Madrid for 3 day shopping trip, I walked away in the morning and came back in the evening just for sleep. Location wise its perfect, just did not feel homy and nice to stay in the room.

Small hotel in the central location with many restaurants and walking distance to the downtown locations.Clean i quite quiet at night. Very pleasant staff .

The location is great and the rooms are clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. As an improvement, the pillows and bedsheets should be changed to better ones. The pillows are very uncomfortable. The good thing is that we went to the staff to ask for more pillows and they were extremely helpful and they provided more pillows.Also, another thing to take into consideration is that during winter it is kind of cold inside as the heating is made only using the AC. If you can’t sleep with the ac on, you’ll freeze. I think it is a good option during summer or if you don’t like a warm room. Overall, even if I said that, i still enjoyed my time here and it was a pleasure to stay in the city center.

Clean room, we stayed for 2 nights. The location is perfect. Not very spacious room but does the job. The staff was very helpful. Also there is a 24 hour reception which is a very good thing.

Staff is friendly and helpfulExcellent location- can access all of the major tourist attractions via walk - maximum of a 20-25 min walk to the El Retiro Park. Bathrooms were clean and well equipped.Everything within reach.

All great, no breakfast available but many places close by for great breakfast options.

Lighting in room could have been a bit better

The location is perfect! The room and the bathroom were recently renovated and very clean. The personnel at the reception very helpful and polite.

It would be better if there was a mini-bar and a coffee machine in the room.

The location

There was no hot water the first night we arrived. The shower was structured weird and the water would get all over the bathroom. The bed only had two thin pillows, only sheets on top and a small blanket. No duvet or mattress cover was on the bed. The sheets when we arrived had stains on them and they just tried to tuck in the sheets under the bed instead of replacing them. The location was great but the price for the stay wasn’t worth what we received. You also have to leave the room key with the front desk every time you leave the hotel which I thought was weird. The WiFi instructions weren’t provided anywhere in the room and when we used the room phone to call the front desk the phone didn’t work and we had to walk down and ask for it. Overall you are just paying for the location rather than comfort.
