Petit Palace Arenal

The hotel is in an excellent location. Very clean and well presented. The best part of it was the staff, they were very helpful and caring.

Fantastic location, call ahead if you are driving... the hotel sent a shuttle for which we paid 80 euros for 5 people. Did not purchase breakfast there b/c there are plenty choices on Calle del Arenal.

Front desk staff were very helpful, the location was convenient to many tourist attractions.

The location .. it's very central walking distance to almost all the sites. They provide toiletries as well.. and room was clean when we arrived. Staff are very friendly .. breakfast is good too.

The fridge was not usable.. a bit hot in the room..

Location was great...Also good sound insulation beyween rooms.Staff very accommodating, jolly & helpful... Rubén was great.Loved the Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap & toothbrushes offered.Also liked the option of having a fridge in the room, which was not the case in other similar rating hotels

This is my second time staying here and I really enjoyed it! It was extremely close to everything from shopping and metro. The staff is always friendly.

The rooms can use some updates unfortunately. But considering location and welcoming attitude that is what brought me back!

The property is a bit dated and there is no coffee maker or tea kettle in the room, but I guess you get what you pay for and the price is very good for that part of Madrid.

The location is outstanding and the rooms were perfect for what we needed!

Nothing - being incredibly picky though, the lift is rather small and slow. It didn’t bother us at all though.

Great l Iocation, convenient to all major sights. But too noisy at night. Even at 3:00 am! Staff friendly and helpful with information and directions.

The location was great. Staff were great and very polite. The room was clean and the bathroom was good and they cleaned them everyday.

The room was maybe little bit small (but having in mind that you just sleep there, maybe it was enough), bed was little bit broken. Not many channels on tv and you couldn’t watch Netflix or any other english movies.

Our second stay in this hotel - comfortable, clean and in a great location.

There was a bit of noise outside our room window from 'something' mechanical - not a huge issue, but we didn't experience this on our first visit. Our room was some way away from the lift, so I suspect it was something to do with the heating system perhaps?

This hotel is located very centrally to places tourists like to visit. We were able to walk to all of the attractions we chose. The standard of cleanliness was very high. All staff we came into contact with were polite and very helpful. English was spoken by most of the staff. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Unfortunately, one of us became very ill and we needed to call an English speaking doctor at 3.00 AM. The hotel helped us with this and it was free for the first visit - the hotel has an arrangement with a clinic. The medical care was outstanding.

The only thing we could suggest would be tea/coffee and a kettle in the room.

The location was absolutely amazing, close to many key points. However, the hotel’s elevator was out of service for our entire stay, so be prepared to carry all your luggage. Room 109 has a balcony with a great morning view of the locals walking along the Arenal. 2 min walk to the churros San Ginés. 5min walk to plaza del sol. And plaza mayor and lots of shopping!

Great location overlooking a pedestrian street. Very Spacious room for a city centre. Lovely big shower. Incredible double glazing which blocked all street noise. Lovely little balcony. Comfortable beds.

Paper thin walls. Could hear every cough and sneeze from the next room and also running water noises from showers, sinks and toilets.

Excellent location.

No issues. Comfortable, clean and convenient.
