Pros +
- Location
- Nothing, i left right after check-in. Misleading pictures on reservation, the suite is old and full of craps and just unfit for a high price per night as sold
- Excellent location, very good service. Nice to have a kitchen and even a washer.
Cons -
- 1. The sofa/bed had rips and outdated. 2. Noise level on floor 1 in the AM was not good. Hotel employees above cleaning and doing the rooms moved furniture around daily . Hard to be able to sleep with that kind of squeeky noise.
- Small hallway, old bathrooms, old mobilia, cracks and craps in the walls and everything is just outdated, i was charged over 300€+ for 2 nights, and i left after 3 hrs as i wasn’t comfortable at all…
- Including breakfast could be good.

Great location, very clean, but needs some updating - the furniture and decor is very dated.
Dated furniture and decor.
The location
The kitchen wasn’t on service on my bedroom and I booked thinking Inwas getting it. And cleaning staff was very loud cleaning moving furniture while sleeping in the morning.
Nice little hotel in a quiet neighbourhood near the center of town.
The bedroom was crammed with the double bed taking most of the space, it was only possible to get in and out of bed from one side or the end. But the living room was good size.
The location.
We got a room on the bottom floor (2). It was incredible noisy, you could hear everything at the reception throughout the night and early hours (doors slamming, people talking, phone ringing etc etc). Whenever a person flushed bathroom in room above you could hear the water pipes. The fridge made a horrendous sound as well. The room was worn out but clean. The shower was difficult to get the right temperature either burning hot or too cold. I don’t know how this is a 4 star venue…I amShocked this room is even sold to guests. It’s not possible to sleep there.
Once a well known residence for students this Old style Madrid hotel is perfectly situated in Barrio Salamanca with its high end shops, wonderful restaurants and trendy cafes. Do not expect frills and too much modernity, but this hotel is authentic and pleasantly serene. Rooms and common areas are spotless, and the staff most welcoming and professional. Our room was spacious and included a small, well kitted out kitchen, sitting room and balcony with views over a most charming and little known Museo Galdeano. An optional buffet breakfast, hot and cold, is served in a cosy narrow room with gracious staff on attendance. A thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Nothing, the furniture in the bedrooms perhaps could be updated.
Location is great, i love the big spacious rooms, staff is kind and approachable.
Cleaning ladies forgot to close the door of the room, twice. And we stayed four nights. This is something that should never happen.
Good location; spacious suite.
Hard to get a full night’s sleep because of the noise on the street. Building and furniture a bit tired
staff is excellent, location is very good but a little far from metro
maybe the entrance stairs are a bit tough with luggage
I was upgraded to the best suite and had everything—kitchen, terrace
breakfast could be improved (more variety)
The location was perfect for our quick trip to the US Embassy. The area is very clean and safe with loads of restaurants, bars and shopping close by. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and very helpful.
Very nice room and we got the view we wantedExcellent breakfast and very good serviceClose to very nice restaurants
Wonderful staff, excellent breakfasts, large rooms (suites have their own kitchen with coffee maker)
The rooms are “tired” and require renovation and cosmetic repairs. It's perfect for a couple of days' stay.
Vary comfortable apartment equipped with everything we could need. Neat and clean.
Excellent location, very good service. Nice to have a kitchen and even a washer.
Including breakfast could be good.
The staff at the reception and at breakfast were very helpful and friendly. The room had a balcony, which I really liked, and there was even a view of the neighboring streets. The area is quiet and peaceful, with no crowds of tourists. There is a nice restaurant and a grocery store on the street.
There was nothing here that I could complain about.
Spotlessly clean and spacious suite with kitchen, laundry & AC! The Suites Barrio de Salamanca is very well located with quick access to restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance. There’s a bus stop a block away that runs into downtown.
There is a sofa bed but we couldn’t open it fully due to there not being enough space with the other furniture in the living area. As we were only two travelers, we used the two twins in the bedroom but it would have been nice to have the extra sleep surface.
It was a fantastic location and not too far from the airport or the shops of Salamanca or the museums
It was very loud - the windows need some sound insulation as there are many cafes etc
