Hotel Avenida Gran Via

Location, clean, functional, friendly, helpful.

Google maps has it on the other side of the street although the hotel has a huge sign that we found.

clean, renewed room , good location (although VERY NOISY at night due to garbage collection and other municipal activities)

room not equipped/design at all for more than 1 night stay for 1 person, although it was a room for 2:only 1 chair in the room,a very small table (as for kids),no table in the bathroom for personal items;no iron. Not OK for business, star rating shall be 2

Location was great, and staff was very nice and helpful. Maid service was also wonderful yet discreet.

No complaints until the last night and I saw a small cockroach in the bathroom. The place was very clean otherwise, but that was quite disgusting.

El hotel está en excelente localización. El staff del hotel fue muy amable.

Las camas son muy incómodas.

Friendly Staff

Small rooms

Excellent location and friendly staff.

The location, cleanliness and staff.

Location. Front desk staff very helpful

The shower was to small. No kettle in rooms

The location is excellent, just a few metres from the famous Gran Vía and several other popular squares. The room is very clean and serviced daily

The parquet flooring is very squeaky, and the noise can also be heard coming from other rooms. We stayed on the second level, and outdoor sounds were very noticeable inside the room, especially at night.

Great location in the center of Madrid, the room was very clean, the check-in was very easy. Good enough for a short stay.

The air in the room was very wet all the time, sometimes the noice from the hallway was disturbing (thin walls/doors do not provide good insulation). The bathroom did not have a separate ventilation, so all the moisture and smell went into the room.

Central & convenient location Great staff Otherwise, basic hotel with fair prices that is good for short stays.. for longer stays, a bit not comfortable (no seating area in the room, no storage, bed mattresses slightly hard etc)

Perfect location, comfortable and clean room.

Perfect location, comfortable and clean room.

The hotel has an excellent location, the reception staff were very welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

the restaurant experience was disappointing – the staff didn’t speak English, didn’t smile, and the service was poor.”

Perfect location and helpful staff.

I wish there was a way to make a cup of coffee in the room.

Madrid is city were you can easily walk around the major attractions and the hotel location is perfect for this and for getting in some shopping during your stay.

Excellent location.

The walls were very thin, you could literally hear the neighbours. In our case, they were a bit loud :) However, Madrid never sleeps, so you get used to the "loud city".

the ease of opening the windows since the A/C was not on.

Very central location, located in Gran Vía. The front desk was kind rooms were very clean. Lots of shops around the area

The staff was excellent, they let us check in very early, around 10am, and helped me store our bags on our check out day, also helped me to request a taxi for the whole group, very recommended.

I don't have any complain
