-Bathrooms is tiny compared to the room. -Bathroom is somehow closed off by a curtain rather than a proper wall, those in the room can easily see you as the curtain is covering a GLASS wall. That’s super weird. Not an actual wall rather a glass wall to close off a bathroom. -Curtains have weird stains -The beds are severely in need of a change as they have no support/hold what’s so ever. -no safe in the rooms

Great location, staff are lovely. Very comfortable bed. Free tea/coffee in lobby a great addition

Location was perfect, it was easy walking distance to many highlights. The rooftop terrace was convenient for taking smoke breaks without leaving the hotel. Love the self-serve coffee and tea, the Wi-Fi was good too.

The floor around the bathroom and the toilet floor have serious water damage. They require immediate attention, as I suspect that is a fabulous breeding ground for black mold. The walls and ceilings are incredibly thin and not at all sound-buffered. You can hear guests upstairs, next door and their walking down the stairs.

We were in Madrid for a single night on a layover so we wanted a budget friendly hotel downtown. Mayerling is just that. It is not fancy and is somewhat bare bones but it provided a comfortable bed, safe atmosphere and clean bathroom. It gave us everything we needed for the one night. They also provide breakfast for 8 euros but we didn't take advantage of this.

Mayerling is on a bus line so it can be loud depending on your room location. Madrid is a bustling city that stays up late. However, if you are looking to use the bus and/or metro, the stops are right outside the door.

Super nice staff, excellent location.

The toilet door was just a piece of cardboard which didn't close properly. It was like a public toilet. This isn't very comfortable for a room with three people in it.

Location is ok

The bedding is not clean , after sleeping one night there, my friends were experiencing an unbearable itch all over their body next day. Breakfast no good.The hotel offers extremely poor value for the room rate we have paid.

The shower was weird and theroom was very basic with barely any amenities. It was ok for one night while passing through.

Very central for looking around the old quarter of the city. The room was very clean and beds made every day. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice.

No light in shower. Strange lock on toilet door which caught my husband in the night. Loose tap and water dangerously hot.

The breakfast was quite good, the reception staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Very basic room, nowhere to hang anything, nowhere in the room to secure valuables, a very small basin in the bedroom, a shower with a see-through panel.
