    Pros +

    • 1. Close to city center. 2. 24 hour easy check in / check out.
    • On the good side, you do get a very cheap life lesson that it's always worth paying extra to stay at a decent place. This is not a decent place.
    • Nice location in front of the palace. Simple hostel

    Cons -

    • 1. Floor is starting to come off. 2. No A/C control. A/C is controlled by hotel, and they operate it from 7pm, and on the lowest strength possible. 3. Receptionist was on the phone when checking in for 4 minutes disregarding people across from him.
    • The hostel is dirty and uncomfortable. Smelly rooms, dirty bathrooms, mouldy showers. Very small rooms, lockers not closable with a thicker lock. All in all very uncomfortable.
    • The showers were far away from my room so needed to walk a bit in the morning

    Bad

The place is laughable, dirty and old. Its also like they have almost tried to make it as intentionally bad as possible. A few examples are extremely old beds that were falling apart, "kitchen" felt like a litteral bunker, a table in the reception where the chairs are higher than the table etc etc. The place felt extremely dirty you even have to make your own bed. 0/10

The existence of a kitchen. It was hard to find an hostel with a kitchen at this price in Madrid. The kitchen was dirty, but at least I was able to make my meals. The excellent thing with this hostel is the location, you cannot find better for this price. When you go out of the building you have a view on the Royal palace and Cathedral : fantastic.

The kitchen was dirty. The staff was not very friendly.

The staff are so nice and the location is excellent. I found it also clean.

The location and the fact that despite my very late check in someone was there and friendly.

Nothing to dislike, I got what I paid for

Great location, nice staff and easy to access

Very small room, bed wasn’t the most comfortable and very warm. Says there is central AC, but I couldn’t feel it. There was also only the main light, right above the bed - so you could be blinded, or in pitch dark.

Loved how close to the palace it was. How conveniently located to major attractions and metro stations it was. Staff was amazing and friendly. Had a dorm room to myself for most of my stay which was amazing haha

    Location at the city center

The apartment was far below expectations for the amount paid for the room. There was no chair, no table, no TV and the room was too tight and the bed was just on the floor for a price of €104.00

Madrid is a hideously expensive place to stay. This hostel is well located, clean and relatively comfortable. I did appreciate female dorm with only 4 people and our own bathroom.

Everything is old, used or falling apart. The safes in the rooms are not all working. The kitchen and the dining room are located in the basement and it fells very sordid… so bad

over all it's a good value for money hostel, very central next to the royal palace and also reception 24/7.

over crowded room, it needs refurbishment, and we had people did wasn't groomed and cleaned, the shower glass could be more private as it was a see trough shower.
