- I've stayed a couple of times before in this hotel and the location in unbeatable. I've always felt safe and you get a really good deal for the price.
- What made me choose this hotel were only two things: the location, quite central, not far from Paseo de la Castellana, and the price, which was way below others in the same area. Later on I found why...
Cons -
- there was a lot of noise from the restaurant downstairs and from a night club on the other side of the road late at night no hair dryer in bathroom receptionists did speak sufficient English No pc and printer On Oct 9 check in was 3 pm , too late
- They don't have a phone in reception so if you're ordering a delivery or expecting to call someone for whatever reason, it makes it difficult to communicate with people in Spain unless you use your phone on an international call.
- Well, almost everything. The building is old, and the room furnishings aren't much better off. Some newer items are clearly IKEA low quality. The windows didn't close properly, which in January you can imagine is not a great thing. And don't fall for the breakfast scam! You pay 7€ and they give you a ticket to use in a coffee shop in the street below, where they give you a menu and you can choose one item ranging from 3 to 4€...

The room was clean and reasonbly comfortable.
The entrance felt cold and I had to wait to check-in. Similarly, I would have appreciated the option for a breakfast.
The room is a fair size and has a small kitchen, including a fridge. The location is convenient. The staff was helpful and friendly.
The hotel is not marked by name outside. You just have to go by the number. The breakfast is not in the hotel but in the cafetaria below. However, you are only allowed to choose from 5 cheap options. It is much better not to prepay for the breakfast, then you are free to order what you want. The room was very hot (outside it was 7 degrees C), but the heating was turned off. There was a small niche in the ceiling over the bed that was full of cobwebs. The sound isolation is extremely poor. There is a lot of noise coming from the other rooms.
Close to Metro station
Very noisy specially the nights on the street.
Location and the cleaning staff cleaned the room daily
Entrance is next to a smoking area; no hot water the first day; the toilet could not be used properly that way it was configured; no effort to allow for an early check in; no mirror in the bedroom part
Location
Someone to ask things for, like we needed more pillows, there was no one to get help from . A table to sit and eat also will be of great help
The room and bathroom are spacious, its clean and such a great location, also the staff are super nice
Nice view from the window, calm neighborhood and location is close to the center, walkable distance
Room is quite old and unfortunately, the trash wasn't taken out, bathroom was a bit dirty. Too expensive.
Amazing location to stay in Salamanca. Easy to get situated in the city, close to shops in a beautiful safe and residential/ comercial area. I like better than staying in Downtown/ Gran Vía .
They need to install save boxes it’s convenient when traveling.
The Hotel is in an amazing location in Madrid. We like the shops and the residential feel of Salamanca. It’s very safe here too!
The property needs to install safe boxes in the room- it’s important for travelers.
Nice to have a kitchennete in the room.Lot of space in the room.
A little noisy bar on a street near the hotel on a Friday night.
Location was excellent, room was fairly clean. I was pleasantly surprised compared to the reviews I read. I got the room with the windows to the inner yard, it was quiet. The problem with the water tap in the shower room was fixed after I complained. Overall, my stay was better than I expected. Thank you!
Breakfast was small and starting quite late from 8pm. If you have an early morning, do not include the breakfast option.
Uncomfortable
Room walls were stained, beds were extremely uncomfortable. Zero padding. And towels are cheap and scratchy. TV is placed far away and the size is very small. You’re better off watching tv on your phone.
For the price you pay you get a comfortable room, with a nice refurnished bathroom and little kitchen. It is clean and well located. The service is excelent. I forgot his name, but the man that does the evening shift was super nice and helpful. I needed multiple things, from and adapter to printing some stuff on paper, and he helped me so kindly. I felt taken care of at this place, this is priceless.
nothing actually
Excellent location for the Madrid Marathon which we were running in on the Sunday. Had the basics we needed for our two night stay.
Very noisy as we were facing the street. Not ideal when we needed to have a good night’s sleep for the marathon the next day. Reception only manned until 11pm so we couldn’t request a different room.
Good price and location
long wait time at (old-fashioned) reception, old elevators, sparse breakfast
Location staff service excellent
Cleaness, room service, location budget
Room was very clean.Location was ideal for walking to the US Embassy
Windows are not sound proof from the noise from bars on the street. No air-conditioning
