Very nice hotel. Friendly English speaking front desk. Clean and updated rooms. Awesome free breakfast buffet daily. There was nothing we didn't like here. Will stay again.

It’s perfect clean, reception is great and welcoming. The property is also providing still, cold and sparkling water for all the guests.

The location is quiet and nice. Just a bit far from the city centre, but good for long walks and enjoy the city.

Our recent stay at the hotel was exceptional from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent. While the location was a little remote, it was very close to public transportation.

Most of my opinion may have been shaded by the renovation work in the lobby/elevators. We were offered an "upgrade" in our room selection in exchange for waiving the daily housekeeping services. The assigned room did not seem to meet the upgrade promised. It was small, there were visibly chips or damage on the walls, there were no usb ports, not washcloths in the bathroom, towel rack warmer did not work, tv was dated and remote control was limited in its functions. Bed size was great although it seemed to slope, pillows were extremely soft/limited in support, closet shelves were dusty

The location was very good, close to parque del retiro. Táxi cabs available in front of the hotel 24hs. Nice restaurants around. 20 minutes crossing the park to the museums . The bar service was. Good deal to eat and drink

Another wonderful stay at this excellent hotel. Staff was, as usual, very welcoming and professional. Room had a good AC system for the very hot days I stayed in Madrid. Will go back next time.

Just missed a mini fridge in the room. Otherwise, nothing.

We chose Crowne Plaza Retiro because it is very close to our relative’s home. The hotel was clean, the room spacious (for European standards), the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Having a bar /lounge area in the lobby was very convenient for getting a quick coffee , snack , or drink after restaurant had closed for breakfast.

Enjoyed the option of fresh made omelettes/eggs benedict. We never did, as Americans, get used to the undercooked bacon....but understood how it is enjoyed in Spain

Central location in Madrid, convenient for the city-break, 10mins walk from the splendid Retiro Park. Very close to Metro and bus stops of numerous lines to commute around Madrid, we bought multi-journey ticket at the metro station. Yet, the location is quiet enough to offer some rest compared with the busiest parts of the city center. The hotel is new, modern, fresh, clean, spacious, well maintained and offers great relaxation after days of sightseeing. The staff is engaged, presents very positive attitude, happy and smiling, always attentive to guests (congrats and thank you!). We used a half-board offer, with excellent breakfasts (incl. live cooking) and dinners, with simple and very satisfying 3-course menues, which we enjoyed in the bar area, watching football games or F1 on the comfy sofas. Our Family Suite room was spacious enough for our family of 4, again: clean, modern, very comfortable, with a nice city view, and a large, clean, well-planned bathroom. Water, coffee, tea, biscuits and chocolates in the room was re-supplied every day of our 4-day stay, that was very appreciated. On the last day we checked-out and left our luggage safely stored next to the reception, which offered us a good day of sightseeing before our evening flight back.

The AC was a bit noisy, we were turning it off for the night. We also couldn't open the windows for safety reasons, as explained, which is understandable on a high building like this one, but would give a nice breeze of the spring air. It hasn't created any problems anyway.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Good bus routes and the public transport was very accessible.

Room not being ready at 2pm. Making us have to stay in sister hotel Voco which was lovely but not what we originally booked.

Very convenient location, 5 minutes to metro and a short walk to Retiro. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with special pancakes for the kids. Thank you for the nice stay!

When we arrived there was some light renovation and our room smelled of paint. But this was quickly addressed and we were given a room at a higher floor.

The layout of the hotel is very nice and functional. The bar / cafeteria is comfortable. Nice spacious rooms.

Have no complaints

- Staff was very polite- Breakfast was good- Large Bathroom with great shower cabin- Hotel is not located close to bars/clubs, so it was really quiet at night

- The elevators are very shaky and since our room was close to the elevators, the sounds and the vibrations were unpleasant- Sometimes hot water was fluctuating, from very hot to lukewarm- Could not open the windows so the air was pretty stale- Not as clean as it could have been, still dusty in some places

It’s a bit further away from the centre but public transport were available nearby.Hotel were clean and beautiful.The most important thing also the staff were friendly and helpful.Will definitely stay again when Im back to Madrid.

Someone left some a pair of socks in the wardrobe and seems that the staff missed to find it during cleaning.

the don't clean the room and they and they used used bed sheet i find hair and mucus fluid so disgusting
