    Pros +

    • Amazing rooms. Very modern. Good lighting. Nice and cozy. Friendly cleaning staff. Fully automated. Prompt online support. CCTV surveillance in common areas. Couldn’t fault it.
    • This is in a non-descript building in a neighborhood. Within 3 blocks there is a taco place, an organic grocery store , a bazaar and a bank. The place was very quiet at night. The room was very small but had everything I needed. I liked the room very much. Clean, white towels with no scent. Clean white sheets with no scent. Beds were comfy and well made. Housekeepers were very friendly and helpful .
    • comfy bed and pillow

    Cons -

    • There could be better signage atThe front gate. A bottle of water in the room.
    • I was happy to see RITUALS products in the pictures, but I use some soap and shampoo and they are filled with another cheap and bad quality ones. They are reused bottles and placed wrong. In the shower they put the hand soap container and the shampoo one on the sink. Very disappointed about that.
    • Walls are very thin, but I brought earplugs. Like other reviews mentioned, the hotel is modestly equipped, with no facilities for coffee, tea or eating. The restaurants and lunchrooms in the area more than make up for that though.

Location was amazing! The beds are great and the room is clean. Really nice shower.

Clean modern rooms and features. Great location in nice neighborhood close to restaurants.

    Old building is kinda noisy.

    7ChrisPosted on: 10-26-2023

There was no breakfast at Marco Polo

The shower was way too small and difficult to enjoy! - The bed was tight against the wall the TV was located and made passing in front of the bed almost impossible.

    8HélènePosted on: 10-25-2023

Close to city Center of Madrid. Room was clean.

The keyboard at the main door is quite noisy and we hear when people are getting in in the night.

    The staff were great

The rooms are too small and very pricey

    8ValentinaPosted on: 10-2-2023

Design, clean, optimaal location, good communication with host via phone

Single room is really small, check in is only via internet and you never meet the host

Perfectly clean residence with a comfy bed and nicely sized room. The cupboards were great, with space for both of us to hang the majority of our clothes during our 4 day stay. The bed was spotless with clean, crispy sheets and two great pillows per person. The AC was a LIFESAVER, since the outside heat was unbearable. We also loved the self-checkin and housecleaning that was invisible - we would come back to a freshly made bed and new toilet paper.

For some reason we weren't able to get the water to flow cold both in the sink and shower, making it very hard to get a glass of water in the apartment.

It's a bed and shower to rent for the night.

There are no staff around the property, everything is handled remotely. Everything was basic. The shower was not even warm.

Very good location, clean and pleasant rooms. Online check-in and access to property via access code worked very well.

“Hotel” is basically a big flat that got transformed into guest house with individual rooms. Rooms are not sound proof which means sleeping without ear plugs literally not possible, as you can hear everything!

The accommodation is in a great location, on the side of the Gran Via street, excellently connected by buses to the most important locations in the city, which can be reached very quickly. The instructions for self-check-in to accommodation are very clear. The room was very clean and solidly furnished, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the air conditioner worked great. If I come back to Madrid, I will probably book the room again.

    10AvecillaPosted on: 8-5-2023

Impeccably clean I would definitely go back and would recommend Bed very comfortable

You can hear the shower and faucet running from next room.

    9HarryPosted on: 7-19-2023

Very clean and modern! The smart TV in the room was very nice to have and the air conditioning worked well. Solid location just a 5 minute walk from Templo de Debod where you can enjoy an amazing sunset.

The single person room was pretty small and only had one narrow window.

    10BeatrizPosted on: 7-13-2023

This is a very nice place to stay in madrid, very tidy and clean. It had a more modern style. It felt like we had a lot of privacy. I really liked the self check in, it works pretty well and they are very clear. At some point the AC was not working properly and I called the hostal hotline and they were extremelly helpful.

    9Jose J.Posted on: 7-7-2023

The location was great and the room was clean.

It was too simple. For instance, There was no coffee machine or any other amenity in the facilities.

    4KatePosted on: 7-5-2023

The room was modern and clean, had all the necessities and AC worked well. Also the location is very convenient to explore the city. Only met the cleaning lady from the staff and she was very friendly and helpful.

My room was right next to the apartment entrance so every time another guest returned at night the door slamming woke me up. It was hard to get a good nights sleep. In front of my balcony there were workers renovating the other building so it was a bit weird to be in the room during the day as no privacy unless you used the black out curtain - not the hotels fault but for the price its not great. I wouldn’t repeat my stay mostly because the hostel has no reception and doesn’t provide any storage option for the luggage - that was surprising and again, for the price, unacceptable.

    8MiriamPosted on: 7-1-2023

Overall, is a nice place. I liked the private bathroom and the linens.

The door wouldn't open. The 'staff' took forever to answer a very important mail and there was never someone on site. The room was super small.

    5BingemannPosted on: 5-30-2023

It was super clean, the bed is mega comfy, the location is great to explore the city

It was very loud: slamming doors very hour of the night, people marching up and down the stairs, people being loud in the courtyard, etc.
