    Pros +

    Cons -

    • Wish we had received clear instructions on how to get in and out of the building. When we arrived, as expected, we had to call to get instructions on how to get in using one access code for the gate facing the street, to enter the building, and another access code to get into the unit. This was normal and ok. What we did not expect, and very stressful was feeling trapped in the building, not being able to open the gate to exit to the street, when we tried to go out for a stroll after 8 PM. We called and the Bob W Chueca agent was polite and tried to be helpful but seemed unfamiliar with the facility and unable to explain with clarity how to get out. At that very moment other tourists who were also staying at Bob W Chueca were getting in and explained that to get out one had to press a green button next to the other gate inside, and that the same thing happened to them on their first day.To avoid this, it would be helpful, if upon arrival, when a newly arrived tourist calls the agents that this would be clearly explained: simple: use the codes to get in, and after hours press, push the green button next to the other gate close to the elevators, when you hear a sound you can open the gate to the street.
    • It’s not a very warm or cozy spot. It could use curtains and rugs. It’s a very cold and industrial feel which I didn’t love.
    • The only thing that we didn't like the first night was that it was cold, but it was cold outside too and we received an email that there are issues with the heating and that we will receive an extra heater, but we didn't until the next morning when I asked for it via WhatsApp. The staff is communicative and fast over WhatsApp. The rest of the time it was warm. Maybe some covers on the floor or slippers in the rooms would save your feed from the cold pavement.

The location is amazing! The whole street is full of stores and places to eat, which is important to us when we travel. We felt safe. It is close to the Tribunal metro station with many connections and also by walking distance to Gran Via. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook and there is also a shared kitchen. We enjoyed Netflix and YouTube on the TV (I was travelling with a child) and we liked the yoga mattresses in the apartment. The beds are really comfortable.

The only thing that we didn't like the first night was that it was cold, but it was cold outside too and we received an email that there are issues with the heating and that we will receive an extra heater, but we didn't until the next morning when I asked for it via WhatsApp. The staff is communicative and fast over WhatsApp. The rest of the time it was warm. Great central location, had everything we needed

You get what you pay for, i.e. the accommodation itself is quite small but everything you need is there - bathroom, beds, kitchenette, closet

location is good, friendliness from the staff,

it was cold the room would get warmer than 18C and at night was extremely cold, hot water was limited to 5 min after that the temperature will drop to barely warm. I had the bad luck to be next to a room that needed to be fixed so I was woken up with loud noice. this was for 2 days so ai couldnt work from the room. they advertise having a kitchen but was kot cöear this was not inside the room.

Clean, organized, had everything you needed. Great location in the city, just a short walk to get to gran via.

    7RolandoPosted on: 11-3-2025

The location is great, although it is also very noisy. The concept of sharing kitchen and laundry is interesting. People were very friendly, and the support staff was quick in responding to questions.

The space was on the smaller side, basic amenities like free water, would have been a nice touch.

The location was good and the shower gel etc in the room was amazing

Disappointing stay — misleading room size and outdated conditionI booked a 15 m² room at Bob W Chueca, but it was much smaller and poorly designed. The room looked nothing like the photos and felt outdated. When I complained, staff refused to change the room or offer a partial refund, saying the 1 m² difference wasn’t a breach. Overall, the experience didn’t match what was advertised — future guests should double-check room details before booking. The windows overlook over rooms and terrible view

Everything, the location is the great, cute apartment, great bathroom sizes.

The mattress could be a little bit better, but it’s not too bad.

Location very goodLuggage storeStaff super friendly

Cant sleep because of the noiseIn the photos it appears to be more fancy but is too basic for the expensive price we paid

The location is so convenient, walking distance to historical sites, endless boutiques, supermarkets, cafés, and stores of all kinds.Bob will answer your questions through WhatsApp almost instantly.Well secured building and so quiet.

Nothing that I can think of.

The location of the place is perfect - so close to Gran Via and on a busy street with lots of stores and cafes. The room is cozy and filled with cute details. It's also clean, and the bed is great. We loved our stay.

If your room is opposite the communal kitchen, it might get loud in the morning as you depend on politeness of others.

    10KathrynPosted on: 7-18-2025

Well-equipped apartments. Small, but well designed to be comfortable. Good attention to detail and quality touches such as a coffee pot, good coffee and yoga mats provided. Location is very central which is a huge plus, but on a pedestrian road so not too noisy. Also, useful facilities like washing machines and drying racks which are useful when traveling.

We loved everything about the property. Very helpful staff and superb location. Would recommend to anyone visiting Madrid.

Very hot in the room at times. Mainly due to the heat outside.

    Location

They did not step up when the a/c stopped working. They gave me a lousy fan and washed their hands of.

    10DaianaPosted on: 6-23-2025

The bed was super comfortable, great location, chill decoration of the room, everything to cook and laundry.

    No clothes machine

    8SohaPosted on: 6-15-2025

The location is perfect, very close to everything!Communication with staff was easy and quick! All staff are very helpful :)The room amenities are great, with enough toiletries, a tote bag and water bottles you can use for your stay!

The fridge had a very strong garlic smell that everytime we opened it, the smell lingered in the room! The mattress and pillows could be upgraded, not the most comfortable but overall okay!

    10GordanaPosted on: 5-31-2025

Location is excellent, electronic keys work perfectly, it is clean and tidy, there is a luggage storage room, we used early check-in.

The street is noisy, but it didn't bother us too much.
