    Pros +

    • Location
    • Alejandro and Stanislava made sure we had a most memorable Christmas in Madrid. Before we arrived they answered and arranged for each of our requests. Upon arrival they were both completely aware of our needs and cheerfully helped us through our stay. This included a take-away breakfast since we had to leave very early in the morning. The lady who ran the breakfast room was most attentive and made sure we, as vegetarians, could find the right items for both dine-in and take away. The room was bright and modern too!
    • Great location, friendly staff, my room was very clean. They have a very good breakfast, it would be better if they offered it earlier.

    Cons -

    • DIRTY!
    • The walls are thin and I could hear people talking in the rooms next to me.
    • Breakfast could improved, no real hot food.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Miau in Madrid. The room was very clean and had just about everything needed. They were nice to give me extra pillows and put the kettle in the room before arrival. I loved the sound-muffling glass window/door since my room overlooked Plaza de Santa Anna, which was very loud and busy into late hours. The windows effectively blocked out all that sound which was great. The room was small, but large enough for one person. The breakfast, which was served in their dining room with an outside entrance, was very good and the serving staff were nice. The front desk staff were also very pleasant to talk to.

Since I visited in December, there was no way to get AC in the room; the furnace had been set to heat for the season. I was able to open up the windows, but the plaza below was very loud. So I managed to keep the room cool by opening up windows until I went to bed, then closing the soundproof doors to sleep. Also the mini-bar was not very cool, and also it was a strange layout. On the wall and only about 3 inches deep, and it would only hold 4 small bottles of water or soda. But it was better than not having anything at all!

Location. I was staying on my own and felt safe. For one night either side of a burger trip, it was absolutely fine.

It's quite noisy. Noise from inside (thin walls) rather than outside. Also my room was quite cold even with the heating on.

Hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. Hotel was ideally located around places of interests, restaurants, supermarket, and the Metro station. Breakfast was sumptuous.

Location in vibrant neighborhood Las Letras. Close to Tapas restaurants, sidewalk cafes, and only few blocks to museums: Prado & Thyssen. Very clean and well maintained. Staff excelled in helpfulness.

    Good location and clean

Thin walls, you could hear all the noise in other rooms, especially shower and so on.

The staff was friendly the room was clean and the location was great.

The lack of bar soap. I had to go out and buy some bar soap in order to have a decent shower.

Hotel was in a great location across from the Plaza de Santa Ana and within easy walking distance of all other touristy places

All good, however make sure you ask for a room with a square shower as the curved one is too small for a larger person.

Good, spacious and comfortable room, clean with all the ammenities. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is great as well.

The only thing I would improve is the size of the shower, for my likening it was a bit small and there is enough room in the bathroom for it to be bigger. Other than that, everything else was great

Clean. Had all the basics including good storage and lighting. Well located. Nice staff.

    Paper thin walls.

Great location. About 15 minutes from Plaza Mayor, the Prado, and the Cibeles bus stop (where airport shuttle Bus 203 stops). Super breakfast, which includes scrambled eggs, good bacon and a range of cheeses. Very helpful staff, whose English is good. The desk is staffed 24 hours a dayFairly quiet and safe neighborhood with many small bars and restaurants. My room was quite spacious, for Europe, and appeared to have been recently renovated.

Nice well equipped room. Great shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Was here for one night while on a business trip but would highly recommend.

We loved the location of this hotel in the Lettres neighborhood of Madrid. The room had floor to ceiling windows overlooking a plaza with restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic and the attendant was friendly and professional keeping the small buffet neat and restocked.

Walls were a bit thin but I always travel with earplugs.

The location was good. Near Puerta del Sol, with a lot of nice restaurants within walking distance. The lady at the reception, Estanislava(?), was very nice. She always greeted us warmly each day

Room, although clean and nice, was a bit too small for the price. Breakfast lacked variety. It was the same spread every day.

    Clean, great location, friendly staff

Paper-thin walls, could here every word from adjacent rooms

    Very convenient location. Friendly staff.

Our rooms on the photo looked much bigger than in reality. The shower stall also looked bigger and different.
