II Castillas Madrid

Superb location with a couple of metro stations within a few minutes walk. For those seeking halal food, there were many halal restaurants nearby.

We stayed 2 nights, a few days gap between the 1st and 2nd night. We wanted to put 2 luggage in the store but were only allowed one. We were told that the store room was small. When we went to the store room, it was not that small and there was still lots of space for our 2 luggage! We thought the hotel should be more accommodating in this respect.

Location, staff, comfort

Some food and drinks didn’t get replace during breakfast quickly enough (however we went at 9:45). Also couldn’t sleep with the window open cause it was very noisy outside.

Very good hotel in the heart of Madrids center. Very close to everything, sights and public transportation. Staff is amazing,helpful and nice. Rooms are clean and breakfast decent.

Very clean hotel in a very central location. Next to plaza del Sol. We liked it very much.

Great location, wonderful style, very gentle and helpful staff

A very nice hotel perfectly located. We literally walked everywhere. The room was spacious, cleaned on a daily basis, the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was decent, all you need to start the day with.

A bit expensive but so is every accommodation in the center of Madrid.

No choices of tv channels in any other language but Spanish. On January 1, the breakfast place had just one lady working and the place was packed. The lady couldn’t keep up restocking the food or cleaning the tables. Felt sorry for her but the guess were not happy about it.

We wish a bathroom shower with security handles....In winter the windows had to be open for correct ventilation.

Location is excellent, a few minutes away from main attractions, Room was good. Breakfast could have more choice however still good value for money.

The lack of Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room

I was in the fifth floor and it was completely quiet. It is located one block from the Gran Via. Most important places close enough by walking. The staff were so friendly and usefull.
