Petit Palace Plaza Mayor

Staff was great. The location is absolutely amazing. Restaurants, bars, stores and churros.

Everything was perfect.

This hotel is PERFECT if you want to enjoy the center of Madrid, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Castle, shopping, and great tapas sampling.

Fantastic location. Next to a carrefour express grocery store and the Mercado san Miguel.

Room heating is centrally controlled and too warm.

Clean and had the basic amenities for a pleasant one-day stay. Also, the hotel is in a central location ideal for first-time visitors to Madrid.

The overall experience was good, but not impressive. The toilet flush button was broken, our window faced inward to other windows, and there was no free breakfast.

The hotel's location is extremely convenient. Literally steps away from "Mercado de San Miguel". Close to many restaurants and shops. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed the wifi we got for 5 euros to take with us as we experienced Madrid.

Great design (I call it Italian design)... poor functionality (I call it Italian design)! Impossible but beautiful square sink, extremely slippery shower (someone will get hurt in it), wifi keeps breaking lock.

Excellent location, literally on Plaza Mayor, Madrid Sol train and Metro station is a 10-minutes walk. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is small, but really good value for money.

The room itself was a bit rundown. The bathroom fixtures were cracked in places and the shower door had screws sticking out from where the 2nd door was supposed to be. Since we were staying in a quadruple room, we did not have an option to request a different one.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Madrid. The location is excellent, within walking distance of almost everywhere. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience

The property is right in the middle of the action near the Plaza Mayor. The rooms were spacious, particularly considering the location. The shower was great and it was nice to have a refrigerator in the room. Our room faced a side street and so we didn’t experience much noise overnight even though we were centrally located.

The bed was squeaky and a little uncomfortable. We had a double bed, but my parents got two twins pushed together and really liked their bed.

The hotel was very centrally located, and it was awesome to have a Carrefour right next door for any drinks or snacks. The hotel room had a refrigerator which was also convenient. We had a great view from the window. The rooms were very spacious for being downtown. The shower pressure was great.

There was some outdoor noise at night because of where our room was located, so I recommend bringing earplugs. The way the shower was designed led to water getting on the floor in the bathroom.
