Hotel Freedom

The intimate, unique,"boutique like" feel the hotel has. The room was extremely clean and spotless. The personal was great, the hotel was very quiet. That balcony was so nice and the locations was great!!!!

The hotel was fabulous. No complaints :) One tiny suggestion would be to hose down the balconies once in a while, and maybe invest in adding an actual French door to open both doors to those adorable balconies.

Location, price

The shower’s door cannot be closed properly and there was lots of water leaking to the floor that we needed to clean.

The location is exactly what it is offered. The hotel is well located in the heart of Madrid with accessible transportation (subway).

The staff was not greatest, at least the staff covering the afternoon/evening shift. When I arrived, I was running late for the theater, so I asked for directions (basically where to walk when getting out of the hotel), and the response was "look it up in your mobile in Google Maps."

Location, clean, staff friendly.

Hotel muy bonito cerca de metro y con excelente personal.

The room was quite accessible for a person on a wheelchair. Great location: east to get from the railway station and to all points in the city center.

The accessible room looked more like a staff locker. Fortunately, I was there just for one night and didn't expect much.Was really hard to use the shower: no grabs on the walls, not-so-stable stool.

Dark hallways, weird vibe, no coffee or water in lobby.

The location was really nice. With lots of shops and restaurants around. The area was alive & fun. It’s a small hotel but the room was very clean & modern . And stuff were super nice.

Our room view was on the court. So No view at all.

The rooms are a little small.

The manager/ Owner is very rude to customers. When I complained about the ceiling blind was not pulling to close. He screamed at me, that their is nothing he can do. My Son was staying at different hotel with his teammates, 6 hours before my taxi ride to the airports. I brought my son to my hotel so we can have easy ride to airport. The owner refused for my son to stay with me. It was threatening to call the police to arrest me. He enjoyed using the authority to threaten is customer. If you don't want to go to jail on vacation.Stay away from this hotel.

FRAUD ALERT

THIEVES ALERT. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. In the last day, we left our bags with cash in it in the room for only couple of hours. When I came back, I ve found that my backpack is zipped out, lying on the ground and cleaning lady cleaned the room. I immediately counted the cash and I have found out its missing 300 euros. Talked this situation with the manager of the otel and only thing they said that is to file a police report. Their cleaning lady is working with them for 7 years and she was trustworthy according to them. I got back in the room and read the past reviews of other guests and guess what? This stealing recurred multiple times before, its a habit of this place. Not only they steal, but also they try to double charge you by not confirming the reservation. They double charged many people in the past. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL NO MATTER WHAT.

When I checked in, the person in front of me didn’t speak English very well. And told me my room was cancelled. It’s only after 10 min of discussions that he understood that only 1 room was cancelled by me and the 2nd one was still booked. And after that, some issues with the payment. I had to pay directly the hotel. And once done, I got a cancellation by the hotel via Booking. What a big mess.

Rotten

Extremely unpleasant experience. 2 hrs before checking in received an email stating booking cancelled. Reason given credit card not valid. Have used this card everywhere else and for all other stays. On arrival refused to help and put us out on the pavement refusing rooms.

Bad!!! When I arrive the hotel, the staff told me that my reservation has been cancelled because of my card is unvalide. But my reservation is always confirmed in Booking.com and the same card is used for other reservations without any abnormality.Finally, I stay in the hotel with a higher price compared with my initial reservation.

Clean, modern, good location

No accommodations for early arrival after it was scheduled with booking.com.

The TV was hung on the wall above the sofa, so you couldn't sit in the sofa and watch TV. Trying from the bed was also challenging because of long distance.Breakfast was not an option in the hotelOne of the receptionist seemed like he didn't liked guests. We arrived 15 min earlier than scheduled check-in, and the message was "take a walk" when we sat down in the lobby he seemed annoyed.

The clean and comfortable room. Very well equipped with modern amenities. The reception staff was excellent, he made all the efforts to keep the guests comfortable. The location was comfortable, a short walk of 15-20 minutes from all major attractions. Very secure hotel; entry at the main gate is always under control of the reception manager.

Almost nothing.

Excellent location, comfortable room (junior suite) at reasonable price for central Madrid. Available last minute.

Bathroom a bit small, wash basin in main room.

It was okay it was way over priced

The gentleman that was there during the day he was always annoyed. the older gentleman was nice and the cleaner was very very nice but the guy at front reception we saw him most days the one who checked us in he is so moody and annoyed. The guy who checked us out was nice too very sweet and helpful
