The location and the friendliness of the staff
Just the staffs
Room size, heater, no elevator to first floor , poor cleanliness
Location is alright
My stay at the hotel was very disappointing. The room was dusty and clearly had not been cleaned properly. The air conditioner emitted a horrible smell every time it was turned on, making the air almost unbearable. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and, to make matters worse, they were full of hairs and stains, which was both unhygienic and unsettling. The shower also leaked water all over the bathroom floor, creating a constant mess. Overall, the experience was far below acceptable standards, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.
The breakfast was good. Convent. Good hours
Noisy air conditioners. No fan in the bathroom. You need to carry luggage up some steps before you reach the elevator.
Bad
No heating during the day even though the room was too cold. No English speakers at the reception. No facilities in the room. An empty room with two single beds in it! We paid for two nights but couldn’t stay for more than few hours! We had to leave the hotel at the same day of our arrival!
The staff, the room size, nice watter pressure and the proximity of 24h open store and shopping center.
The view from the window, the wallpapers oh the hallways and no elevator from the ground floor.
We stayed here after a last-minute cancellation at our original accommodation, so we didn’t have very high expectations—especially since we got this property at a lower price. However, the stay truly exceeded our expectations. The check-in process was quick and efficient. A security deposit was required, which was refunded the very next day without any issues. The property itself is actually quite beautiful and well maintained, with decent amenities. There’s even provision for basic cooking, which was very convenient. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. There is a staircase leading to an additional sleeping area with two beds, equipped with air conditioning and ceiling blinds, which added to the comfort. We really enjoyed our time here, and it’s ideal for a family of up to five people. You can also get breakfast at a reasonable price just down the road from the accommodation.
The location was bit away from centre of city , we had to get Ubers back and forth which turned out quite expensive but you’ll be fine if you’re planning to use public transport
WiFi password was not correct. Took forever to connect. The apt were we stayed had an awful smell. No connection to WiFi and isolated from the hotel. For its price expected to be better.
We didn't take breakfast ,we are awaken too late.
The bed no headboardThe are low and moving and the heater is not working. The shower is not good .
The price is good, the room was very spacious. They have a late check in and there is a restaurant near buy which was open at midnight and the shop as well working for 24 hours.
The shower cabin was full of mold but inside of it was clean. The light didn’t work, we had to go downstairs twice in one night to ask them to fix it.
Good location for getting to centre as long as you are well informed. Room was very shabby, and could have been cleaner.. However, considering the prices of other places, it's good value for money and staff are helpful. Not noisy either as it was full.
Bathroom poor condition although good strong shower.
Good location. Has parking
To enter and exit parking area is very challenging. Close to accident
It was,on ground floor
Bathroom- too small , no cofee no tea, no latches to the bathroom.
Madrid Rio was fairly central with good transport links nearby. Staff was friendly enough and facilities functional
The building feels a bit dated and the size of some rooms is on the mean side, particularly single rooms. Value for money ratio could have been a bit more generous. Otherwise it was a nice enough stay
Location
The beds were very uncomfortable and the toilets were a bit smelly as they have no ventilation
Hotel is not in city centre, only Metro line 6 (Usera) takes you there. When arrived Metro Usera, I took the wrong exit and walked a long long way to reach the hotel. You should follow the exit Madrid Rio, walk downhill and hit a shopping mall (RIO 2) at end of the street, the hotel is at your right side 200m away. There were lots of small eateries along the street, you can also find Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken and others in the Mall's food court, a large supermarket is located on the basement floor. Hotel reception is small but staffs were helpful. Room was small but clean, quiet and functional. No coffee pot/kettle in room, I need hot water for my herbal tea every night and I was grateful to get it from their restaurant staffs downstairs. Free luggage storage is a plus.
The room is too dark with only one overhead light away from the desk and closet. I have to switch on the wall mounted TV when I want to hang/find my clothes in the closet. Just an additional desk lamp will do much better.
The hotel is well located, near bus stops and relatively near a metro station. Is also in an avenue, so getting Ubers and taxis is fairly easy. The room is spacious, the beds are big and confortable; and the bathroom is also good overall.
Even though it's close to transports, you will take arround 30 minutes to get to most tourist areas, so keep that in mind (not an issue itself, just something to be aware in your plans). The only downside I found was the breakfast, which is quite limited. The paid standard breakfast is not a continental breakfast, but only an orange juice, a coffee and a pastrie. If you want other options, you can buy them, but the kitchen only opens after 9:30 AM. So, don't count on the breakfast if you need to leave early.
