Miramar Barcelona has a picturesque setting within gardens on Montjuïc Mountain, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It offers 2 swimming pools, free Wi-Fi and rooms with spectacular views of Barcelona. Housed in a former palace with a Neucentisme style, the hotel maintains many of the building’s original features and it is one of the symbols of the city. The interiors have chic, contemporary design. The hotel has 24-hour room service and a bar with a terrace. Studio Miramar restaurant serves a selection of Catalan and Mediterranean dishes. Each of the Miramar’s air-conditioned rooms has floor to ceiling windows, a 47-inch TV with international channels and a mini-bar with a courtesy bottle of water. Their private bathrooms come with L'Occitane toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and either a shower or a designer bath tub. The Joan Miró Foundation, the Old Port and the National Art Museum of Catalonia are within 20 minutes’ walk of the Miramar. And just 10 minutes walk from the Olympic Stadium and Palau Sant Jordi.

- Location, beauty, our only complaint was the cold expensive breakfast

Cons -
- Couldn't stay longer
- The staff were so unprofessional. We arrived at 3 after long trip and our room was not ready yet. We booked a room with sea view, terrace and separate living area, unfortunately we got nothing of these.
- This is not a 5 star hotel. Maybe 3. Many things do not work, are broken, scratched or run-down. In only the first two days of our visit we've been locked out of our room nine times due to malfunctioning door locks. Poor first impression.
