The elegant NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderón has an excellent location just off Passeig de Gràcia Boulevard in central Barcelona. It has fitness center and a year-round free rooftop pool with spectacular city views. The air-conditioned rooms at the NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderón feature free WiFi, a Nespresso machine and a private bathroom with a rain-effect shower and professional hairdryer. Room service is also available 24 hours and the Eleven Bar serves cocktails and light snacks. The breakfast buffet has a variety of high antioxidant dishes and a fresh juice corner. Breakfast can also be requested in your room, and a light early breakfast is available. - The location was perfect for being able to see Barcelona in a short amount of time. It?s so close to everything! Also the rooftop bar and pool offer amazing views! The hotel was clean and attractive. Our room was quiet, too.
- location is good
- The staff was great, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was excellent.
Cons -
- The bar food was just ok and the service was slow, although the servers were very nice. Not a reason to not stay here, though! The beds were not the most comfortable either.
- hotel staff not accommodating, not family friendly. I am traveling with 2 kids and hotel request me to book another room citing room capacity. I offered to pay extra but hotel staff insisted on their policy.
