Good location in heart of old city. Driving to it is an adventure. At some point, bollards go up and you cannot drive thru but then at some point they go down and you can. It's a mystery. But just park at a paid lot and walk 5 minutes and its fine.We didn't hear any noises from the pub, on the 3rd floor above the street.

A quirky hotel in a great place in Edinburgh City Centre. The staff were really helpful and the 24 hour reception always helps when you're staying away. It was ideal for my stay as I was working just 100 yards from the Beehive pub. I would definitely reccomend the Grassmarket Hotel to anyone who wants to visit Edinburgh.
Nothing at all. You even get a 10% discount at four local restaurants when you stay there. And Biddy Mulligans breakfast was great. So what's not to like?

Great location, nice and clean hotel a bit small but i stayed only one night so it was fine.
In their description was that room has hairdryer but it didn’t have, you can probably ask receptionist (which is there 24/7) but I honestly didn’t feel comfortable calling them at 2am after coming from party, straight after shower asking them to bring me hairdryer. If it says it’s part of the room facility it should be there.

I was charged for a breakfast that I paid the hotel receptionist for with cash. It is still on my credit card bill. I am disputing it!!
