From checking in to checking out we had a perfect stay. Highly recommend the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Wonderful service every member of staff was helpful. Our cat even had a cat bed delivered. Thank you all we will be back again. @cleo_oops_a_daisy our cats favourite destination in Edinburgh

Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was excellent and staff attentive and respectful. Location was handy for our needs and restaurant staff were very helpful.

On arrival receptionist assumed I would require an accessible room without asking! Placed us in an accessible room which was definitely not requested - too much like being back in hospital. When asking to be moved, she made the decision (again without asking) that the location of the other rooms would be more difficult to access.

Great location, decor, food and service. Got a lovely free upgrade on room.

The property is in a fantastic position very close to the tram which made it a super place to base myself in Edinburgh.

The property is immersed in darkness. It was difficult to see anything because it was so gloomy in there. There is no central light in the bedroom or bathroom and people were using their phone torches to read the menu. I’ve never experienced a hotel so poorly lit in my life. I would love to return if this situation is resolved.

Didn't have breakfast, booked because it was so close to the theatre we were going to, but also close to the centre.

Brilliant location. Quiet, comfy room and very helpful, pleasant staff.

The receptionist was on a call to another customer when I arrived so I had to wait a few minutes before I could check in. It would have been nice if she had at least acknowledged my presence while I was standing waiting.

Perfectly located, far enough away from the main areas but close enough to easily walk to everything you could want. A very clean and comfortable room with friendly staff.

Great location

Paid for an upgrade and was given an assessable room. Would have been better saving my money. Room was very dark struggled to apply my make up. Bathroom basins (yes 2 in one bathroom!) were very low as was magnifying mirror and lighting very poor.

over all the hotel was very nice and well decorated and welcoming they gave you a voucher for a complimentary drink at the bar on arrival which was a very nice touch i would recommend this lovelyhotel

the breakfast was poor on first morning took 25mins for cooked breakfast to arrive i sent it back due to the egg not being cooked properly waited another 20mins for breakfast the subsequent breakfast was poor egg over cooked and all other components were dried up after being under heat i spoke to.reception to complain about it they said theyd have words with the kitchen staff about both. second day breakfast was much better and was ready for me when i chose a table. the manager refunded our breakfast for both mornings wwhichwas a nice gesture

Price of breakfast...at £23 pp , I doubt very much it was worth it. Where it is located there are at least 10 places within a 5 min walk for a great breakfast at alot cheaper price.

Well located and ideal for city centre restaurants and bars. Charming staff and lovely bar .

A few areas in need of attention, wall , doors in need of a touch of paint

Quiet, comfortable,clean and really central. Excellent friendly staff and absolutely delicious food in the restaurant. I brought my dog and the ‘dog package’ was above and beyond. Arrived in the room to find a dog bed, two bowls, and even a goodie bag with ball, treats, poo bags and a spoon for dog food. Just brilliant.

Located perfectly on St Andrews square.

Room very dated, most lights and switches didn’t work even in the club room. The staff understaffed at the bar (1 person) so slow and was served mayonnaise with fruit instead of yogurt for breakfast. Faulty towers experience. And on check out mentioned them and they said they knew about the issues.

Excellent breakfast, very warm and friendly reception staff.

A bit dark in the bathroom, an optional light on the mirror would help when shaving.

The friendly helpful staff, was the first time I have stayed at this hotel, and it won't be my last. Fantastic place
