CODE - The Court, Edinburgh

Modern and comfortable pods set in a heritage courtroom, unique! Quiet atmosphere and great lockers. Spotless bathrooms. Next door to St Giles Cathedral right on the Royal Mile so superb location!!! Can hear the bells but they don't keep you awake.

Busy downstairs reception as mixed in with cafe. Good vibe though.

Great location, felt very safe as a solo female traveller

The door on my dorm was difficult to close

The beds were really comfortable and felt very private or like you had your own space still in a shared dorm, with the curtains and individual lights. The bathrooms were super spacious and clean, and there was heaps available on each floor so I never waited to use the bathroom or shower. The staff were very friendly, and the location was amazing too- right in the heart of Edinburgh

Nothing! I actually can’t think of anything that I disliked about the property

Location and price; friendly staff; facilities, including kitchen and laundry and a free walking tour; Wi-Fi was strong; nice area for preparing your own food, and the hotel serves coffee and pastries forfor a fee You

Room was very small; no ability to control the heat/cooling in the room; not enough hangers for towels in the bathroom

The pods make the hostel experience completely different and the prison theme is cool for that kind of business.Staff was wonderful too, very nice :-)

Spotless clean, everything new, staff is very kind, location couldn’t be better. They also offer a lot of entertainment, I took a free walking tour with guide Nicky and it was amazing! Ah and the view from the windows, I couldn't be more lucky

If anything I wish there was more public space to accommodate this many people.

The facilities, location, and staff are excellent.

Loud people in the lobby until 1 or 2 am. Even with earplugs, I could hear them.They serve alcohol in the evenings.

Expected for there to be more of a pleasant and talkative atmosphere with the guests. People just kept ignoring eachother. There isn't really a proper system to meet people other than a WhatsApp group chat that doesn't work when you scan.

Super friendly and helpful staff, everything was clean and great facilities. So central, right in the heart of Old Town and close to train station.

Everything was really clean and comfortable. The pods were perfect for a bit of extra privacy. Every member of staff I interacted with was lovely and happy to help. Great kitchen and laundry facilities available too.

The pod is super comfy with its own light and a little shelf. Also there was a locker with a code system for every bed, which was super nice so you can leave you stuff there. :) Location is perfect, in the old town very near to everything! 10/10! Breakfast was so good!!

The kitchen could have more storage space for food. Also the fridge was so full that we almost could find place for our food. But these are just small things! :)

Perfect location! Great value. Pods are surprisingly comfortable. I'll be back.

I was only there one night and didn't have a chance to explore more.
