- Location is amamzing.
- Great location. Spacious with a separate kitchen.
- The location, just off the Royal Mile, is this place's main attraction. The apartment itself was nice, clean and thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen was adequately equipped and the bathroom was very clean. Check in and check out was automatic and the instructions were clear.
Cons -
- It's up four flights of stairs. No Lifts. It's warm without the windows open. It's loud with the windows open and I am a heavy sleeper. One night was fine.
- Doors to each room was very heavy to open and would go slam close. Other peopleâ≢s doors kept us awake and Iâ≢m sure ours kept them awake every time it slammed shut.
- The apartment was on the 4th floor without a lift. Wish we had known that before booking.

Location was great. The separation of sleeping areas was nice. It was clean and well appointed.
Location, amenities and cleanliness.
Cost was a little high but I also realize it is during Hogmany.
Liked: 1. Location2. Convience of check in and check out
Didn't like1. No elevators2. Sign for the entrance-more visible
Great bed. Lots of space. Easy to get in/out of the building. Plenty of towels.
Awkward bathroom that smelled a bit of mold or wet dog and the doors don't stay open without a stopper. Also, the floor in the stairway was dry but slippery. The £250.00 hold is a bit extreme.
Excellent location. Spotlessly clean.
Higher level of the building so you need to be at bridge street level opposite Ladbrooks.
The location couldn’t be better-right on South Bridge with great bus connections on the door step, two grocery stores, a plethora of food options, the Royal Mile and a book store within 100 meters. The one bedroom apartment is well-laid out compact- don’t try to put more than 3 people in it. Spacious bathroom. The kitchen has stove top, microwave and fridge, a few basic pots and pans sufficient for cooking breakfast or reheating food.
It could use a toaster. There was dust on the stove hood and microwave though it did look like it had been wiped recently and I noticed the dust seemed to collect quickly. Due to the location there is a lot of street noise though ear plugs are provided. Noise was worse in the bedroom than in the living room. Not the property owners’ fault by any means, but the bus stop in front of the door meant that nearly every time we entered the building, we had to ask people to step aside. Your access code expires punctually at 10:00 am on the day of check out so be sure you have all your stuff out before 10:00. The door handle slipped out of our grip as we were exiting, and our gear was still inside but we got the cleaning lady next door to give us access.
It is located in the center of the old city just few steps from the Royal mile, a perfect location for the sightseeing and the train station. Also supermarkets and restaurants around. The building is safe with the code system. Clean and lovely apartment and fully equipped kitchen. Our apartment was so quiet. I highly recommend this place.
Lack of staff, we faced a problem on first arrival as after paying online for two lockers downstairs to store luggage before check in time we found one locker to be used. We tried to communicate through phone or mail but we couldn’t. Also, a shelf in the bathroom would be great to put eyeglasses on it.
Beds were fab, so comfy, lovely quality bedding, very cosy flat, great people-watching windows, noise not bad at all considering location. Any chance we can find out what pillows you use? Shower fab
Didnt " not like" anything but we couldnt get tv to work at all and iron has been broken by previous guests I hasten to add. ..its cracked so water pours out when in use.
Super convenient location very close to old town! Secure and comfortable.
If you are on the top level there are a ton of stairs to get to the top which is tricky with luggage. Very loud due to neighboring night clubs. It was also incredibly hot. It was cold outside but still 80+F in the apartment and with windows open you couldn’t sleep due to how loud it was.
The location of this property is supreme. Right in the thick of town and many attractions are within 10-15 minutes of walking distance. Also, there are many shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, and clubs nearby. Public transportation is also very accessible.
Our bedroom was so small, only one of us could put a bag there -- the other bag had to be left out in the living room. There are no surfaces in the bathroom to put stuff on. You have to carry in and carry out your toothpaste, your razor, your shaving cream, etc., etc. It appears to be deliberately designed that way so the cleaner doesn't have to spend much time in the bathroom. The shower stall is also tiny and the shower head is lower than the top of a 6' tall person. A medium-sized American cannot fit in the shower stall. We had paid extra for two hours worth of early check in. When we entered the room (there is no front desk here -- it's remote entry) there was a workman fixing a fallen curtain. Which is ok. But, he said, "You can't be here because check-in is 3:00 pm." Hey fella, YOU can't be here -- having paid for early check-in the management should've sent you here early -- after all, checkout is 11:00 am. Get your facts right, apologize if you shouldn't be here, and don't YOU DARE tell me that we can't be here. The clubs in the area are loud and open until 4:00 am. Be prepared to hear thumping sounds all the way until 4:00 am.
Beautiful location, amazing old building they manage to keep clean and comfortable.
I felt overcharged- paid for two nights when we only stayed one [which was my choice when I booked], but needed a late checkout and they STILL charged us the fee, and we were still locked out for a bit. So in all too stressful for the price.
I was thrilled when I discovered we were above the famous Edinburgh Vaults we had toured earlier. There was even an old illustration of the location framed on the wall. There were cool views from the windows, and it was great to have a kitchen.
As in every other Scottish hotel/apartment where we stayed, the only covering on the bed was a thick duvet. That made some of us wake up in the middle of the night feeling too hot. Yet, when we threw off the duvet, we were too cold. I wish they had a light blanket for the warm-blooded, so we could sleep through the night.
The location was great as it was close to Old Town, and easy to walk the surrounding areas
The Booking.com app was very misleading. We thought we had booked a 2-bedroom unit, and for what we paid, it should have been. I honestly would have stayed at a hotel for the price. However, we got 1 bedroom with a pullout bed in the kitchen and the 2nd "bedroom". Also, it wasn't until I brought it up as we were leaving, that there was no communication about there being no parking. After bringing it up, we got an automated message telling us where nearby parking was. Just would have been handy before we arrived.
Brilliant location - Stylish apartment. Kitchen, fridge , shower etc all working perfectly. Good wifi, smart tv. spacious.
The door lock was a bit intermittent with the code, sometimes would have to put in the code 2/3 times before getting the door to open, I stayed with wife and 2 kids so needed to use to sofa bed, however the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable with 'potholes' inside so you cant really lie down comfortably.
It was nice and clean. It was also very quiet, despite being right on the busy street. I'm glad the windows opened in the bedroom to cool it down a bit.
We stayed on a top level, so we had many stairs to go up with luggage, which was not enjoyable. It was very hot in the unit without any fans. The front door is right in front of the busy bus stop, so it makes getting in and getting out a challenge. Ceilings are low around the bed, and I bumped my head a few times in the night.
Very comfortable apartment, right in the heart of old town. The apartments are not manned by staff but they were great when i had trouble getting in and using the storage lockers they were very attentive on the phone and provided all the info i needed. Also received extended timeon the locker as a courtesy, alays nice to get looked after.

Amazing experience — easy check in and entry, everything we needed right in the middle of the action. Very soundproof windows!!
Bed was quite uncomfortable, but overall would still recommend. We just bought a mattress topper for our stay.
