Quality bed, excellent breakfast, quiet

Clean, modern, nicely decorated with a great view from the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect but the room was well insulated so very quiet.bed was very comfortable.

Some of the LED spotlights buzz a little bit it was just a case of turning those ones off and it wasn’t loud anyway. On the last day we woke up later and the water wasn’t very hot.

Fabulous location. Really classy hotel. Comfortable beds and modern, quirky rooms. All staff really kind and helpful.

Location was great for train station and princes street

We liked everything Suggestions for improvements would be larger bath towels and having easy to find instructions for using things in the rooms, though this wasn’t a problem for us as such. We couldn’t get the radios to work for example

Everything! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a problem with the toilet and they solved it perfectly! The room was very nice and comfortable and breakfast was very good.

The most striking thing about the hotel is its delightfully beautiful modern design. The view from the restaurant/bar/breakfast room on the top floor overlooking the art museum and New Town were stunning. The staff was very helpful and the location was perfect for traveling without a car, being adjacent to the railway station and not far from the light rail line, and at the foot of Old Town. Despite its convenience it was very quiet. I cannot imagine a better location for a stay in Edinburgh.

Customer service was excellent, the rooms were very comforable

The kitchens were closed, so no dinner. But the breakfast looked excellent.

We have stayed at this hotel before(4th trip this time). It’s a tradition now at Christmas before we visit my husband’s family on the east Coast. Always very festive and we dined in the hotel this year and the food was delicious

Toilet took a long time to refill and shower did run cold one morning.
