Pros +
- Location was great
- Clean, but not worth the price. Not even able to take a proper shower.
- The location is super! In the middle of everything in Edinburgh!
Cons -
- The room is tiny!! 4 flights of stairs to get to the room no elevator which is no fun if you have luggage
- The water was mechanically limited to 38°c which is lukewarm. Completely overpriced at $242 a night. I had to pay to store my suitcase at the train station, because there wasn't enough space in the room. There were no towels until I asked for them.
- The space is really small but enough for a short stay

Comfy double bed. Great location in the city centre. Cubby holes to belongings, sockets right next to the bed. Plenty of towels. Room at good temperature, although there is no way to control it. Bag storage while you wait for check-in, and you can extend checkout by 3 hours
Very tiny room. Only two or three steps from the door to the bed, which is also a really narrow space. There is no window in the room, so there is no way to get fresh air or know what was happening outside - could not figure out if it was light or dark out. There was no signal in the room for mobile data, and WIFI was quite weak and slow.
Location and view from the room were great
3 main issues-1. Huge windows that were only single glazed. Combined with the busy street below it made it hard to get to sleep and was woken in the night repeatedly from the street noise despite being on the 2nd floor2. Those windows also made the room very cold. Waking up after the first night it was akin to being in a tent temperature wise. Thankfully we got a second duvet from reception and left the heater on max for a day for a more comfortable second night 3. When we got into bed it was awful. Then we realised that, for some strange reason, the mattress was on upside down and the cushioned, plush top of the mattress was on the bottoms and we were laying on the bottom. Much better when we stripped the bed and flipped the mattress over but I have no idea why and how the bed was made up this way.
Location is great. Right on Princess Street where everything is. Room is small but clean. Bed is comfortable. Didn't interact with the staff much but they were helpful when I did.
No elevator. Long walk to third floor with luggage. Nowhere to open up luggage other the bed so ideally suits for single traveller. Bathroom is clean but very small. I could wash my hands without getting into the bathroom. This is fine for the price is very good.
The location is the best, right in princess st, the Tram is just in front of the hotel. The buses for the day trips also stop usually in princess st so is really conveniant. The staff was a great help.
They don't have an elevator, so you have to carry your bags through the stairs.Since the last room available was the tiniest, without a window, it was a bit disturbing, so I wouldn't recommend it for people with claustrofobia, but if you don't have more than a bag and looking for a place only to sleep, this is the right spot.
Location
Not suitable for anybody that has mobility issues as there is no elevator available. The room was ridiculously small might’ve been OK for one individual. I should’ve paid attention to the details.
We didn't stay there. We couldn't. I had already messaged the hotel beforehand to let them know that my husband had health conditions and needed few stairs, and a lower floor room. To be fair, the hotel informed me that there was no lift, but assured me there were "only a few stairs". Buls***! Walking in to a tiny narrow corridor, we were faced with a massive narrow spiral staircase, that looked like the entrance to Rapunzel's tower. There was no way my husband could have made it up and down those stairs. We ended up staying at the Premier Hotel next door, who were amazing and accommodated my husband's disabilities easily. The downside was that there was, inevitably an extra cost for this; a cost I shall be looking to reclaim back from this c*** hotel, either via my insurance or via a legal route, on the grounds of mis-selling. I was told by the Manager of the Premier Hotel that I would be amazed to learn of the number of people who were initially booked to stay in this place, who then declined it, and opted to pay extra and stay at the Premier Hotel.
The truth about the place would have been a good start.
It is in a great location and the price was right. Staff were so nice. Good communication before I arrived. Security felt good.
There is no elevator but the reception staff helped me bring my bag up the stairs and took it back down for me on checkout.
Great location.
Very small… Also I messaged them in advance about paying extra for an early check-in and they replied “no problem, all set” but when I showed up they said since I didn’t talk to one of them they couldn’t accommodate.
My room was super small, but did have everything you needed. A good location.
Stairs but that can’t be helped.
The only thing that’s good about this place is the location.
I liked nothing. The rooms are extra small (and I’ve stayed in another easyhotel before) and it’s most definitely a fire hazard, the beds are very uncomfortable, pillows are way too thin. I also had a very bad experience with the night receptionist, he was very rude and disrespectful. Funny thing they have a sign on the desk demanding respect from visitors when they don’t practice the same.
It was right across street from the castle , staff was friendly
The room was on second floor, no elevator, lots of bags and the room was tiny. For two people it was miserable. Couldn’t turn around without hitting one another. Not relaxing at all
No space in roomVery compact , small Cannot walk also
Location and price were amazing. The staff were super friendly.
Bring minimal luggage. There’s no elevator so brining up a checked or large luggage is extremely difficult.
Location
It’s capsule room . Some rooms without windows. During 3 nights stay over weekend no single cleaning
Only good thing was the location
One staff member made me feel really uncomfortable, could not move in the room and the air quality was awful, could smell toilets and sewage the whole time, would not stay here again, shame because the location was perfect
Location Price
No lift Compact but for the price wasn’t an issue
Bad
Rooms are very small which is very uncomfortable to stay didn’t expect that until we go there we are very disappointed about the room space even in double room it’s hard to adjust a single person.
