The staff was exceptional

Not as luxe as I expected

Very handy location being on a side street just off Edinburgh Waverly. I was particularly impressed with how responsive the staff were - when a socket wasn't working they saw to it immediately.

Great location, staff were lovely

View from room was a wall, no plug socket by kettle, construction work happening in hotel, woken at around 9.30am with drilling sounds, pillows really uncomfortable..just use normal shaped pillows!

I didn't like the fact that there was only continental breakfast, I expected a cooked breakfast or at least a choice, especially when the continental breakfast was £15, absolutely ridiculous money for cereal, toast and a boiled egg

Location perfect for transport and shopping

The inflated price which I guess was to take advantage of Valentine day and the rugby intwrnational.

Cozy rooms and great location. Staff nice and friendly too. The best check in/out times around and very central to great bars.

No got breakfast options. Lofts had a random tarpaulin cover over the full walls.

The staff on check in were amazing, super friendly. The room was lovely and clean. That evening we got a bit chilly and I asked the receptionist about the heating, she offered me a little space heater and to come up and make sure or heating was switched on properly. The staff on check out/luggage claim were also so lovely! I would totally book again!

Location is excellent. Room modern and bed comfortable. Staff all friendly. Liked the array of different power sockets- European, usb etc.

The cost was way over priced for the weekend we stayed versus the following weekend - definitely value for money for the other weekend but not worth over €500 for 2 nights room only

Breakfast-Could do with bowl of fresh fruit rather than pieces. It was all fresh.Location- excellent

Room far too hot. Did receive a fan but was too noisey for night.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast

Didn't get the city view we'd been told we had booked, instead a view of other windows around an inner courtyard. The wifi didn't work and the bathroom door didn't close properly.

Staff are wonderful and welcoming. Accommodation comfortable and clean. Excellent location

I felt the breakfast was a little expensive for what it offered. But that's only me. It's a really pleasant hotel.

If you're going to Edinburgh by train this is a great place to stay right opposite the station. Staff were very very good could not be more helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.
