Stay Central Hotel

Location was great and the staff was , as well-- Very clean Hotel!

Nothing to not like for me.

Very noisy with music until 4 am. No luggage rack for my suitcase. Floor was gritty with dust/dirt.

Everything. I booked and paid for a medium double or twin but you allocated a small room. Your mistake. Hotel would not honour the original booking. Disgusted with you and the hotel. Unserviced room even when requested. Price too high.

Right where I wanted to be in town. At the price I wanted to pay. Friendly helpful staff. Close to the major attractions. Quiet room.

Front desk staff seemed bothered at times when asking questions

It was in a central location. The facilities were good and clean.

The property is situated above a nightclub and bar. We stayed midweek so this was not an issue, but feel it may be noisy at weekends.

We thought we’d hit the jackpot. Good location, great value and room was fit for purpose.

Then we realised why if it seems too good to be true, it often is. The hotel is based adjacent to lively bars. Music can be heard, and even felt. Throughout the room till around 03:00am.

Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful.

The windows in our room couldn't be opened, it got very warm and stuffy at times and especially when we had the hairdryer on.

The locations is good you are in between Grassmarket and Royal Mile. The staff were friendly and the room was fine for the price.

The room wasn’t super clean. The walls are thin so you can hear people in the hall and above you moving around. It wasn’t terrible there aren’t that many rooms on the floor so noise wasn’t awful during my stay.

Great location

Room was incredibly loud, no toiletries provided and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Also ac was not working.

I had a last minute change and was able to get a room. It turned out to be much bigger than I expected. There was air conditioning which was needed. Lovely space.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was good, with great facilities. The location was not even 10 minutes from the city centre, and breakfast was very good.

Helpful staff

The noise coming from the pub next door and although there were blackput blinds on the windows these didn't prevent the security lights from next door shining in to the room.
