    • Unfortunately the bathroom was a little disaster, everything else was fine. But the shower was a tub and had a weird height, so that it was difficult to get out. The water kept changing pressure and temperature, way too hot and almost no pressure at all. The sink was weirdly low, so that you had to bow down too much to wash your hands. To use toilet flush you had to inconveniently push two puttons at the same time. Everything else was a great stay, but using the bathroom was stressful in every possible way.

Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, and location was good

The roof was leaking and was in my bed when this had happened. But staff were good to move us to another room promptly

Very clean - room was cleaned every day; Spacious room; amenities (coffee/tea bugs, water) were renewed daily; nicely decorated; about 20' walk from the main attractions; Tram stop & train station in 2' away walk; supermarket 1' away walk; usb plugs provided - very useful for travelers from EU; comfortable bed.

Low shower pressure; No pigal provided; for early check-in, you are requested to pay £25; sink was way too low.

Liked the breakfast, appreciated the manned reception.

Noise from outside the hotel (possibly an airconditioning unit or similar)Water pressure in shower could be better.

Location Location didn't pay a lot mid week stay.

Luke warm reception on arrival. Vatb tape didn't work properly nor did bathplug.

Friendly welcome. Given early access to room before the rugby which made things really easy for us. Hotel atmosphere was fun and lively.

The locationFriendly front of house staff

Shower had lots of black mould. Needed another chair to sit on in the room. Member of housekeeping knocked and entered the room at 11am before I even had a chance to say we were still in there!

Great stay, felt very welcomed and the room was very clean and well decorated. Perfect location for transport around Edinburgh and the morning breakfast options were great.

Excellent location to get the bus for early flight (at airport for 4.15am. I really liked there was a fridge in room so I could hygienically store my supermarket breakfast in it - far too early check out to try the breakfast here. The staff were very friendly and helpful - I was given a room with bath on request. Great to have a kettle and de-caf options - I didn't need to use my own supply! Room was spacious with space to spread everything out. Very easy to move around and looked like it had a decent restaurant (I had booked a favourite though in city centre). I thought the price was reasonable as Edinburgh is usually a ridiculously expensive place to stay (I just stay an odd night for early flights as Glasgow Airport is rubbish for its destination choices so I have to come to Edinburgh). I booked because of price and good reviews. Everything was very clean and safe. I also like humans to welcome you at any time rather than apps and fancy check in arrangements. The 24 hour desk was also an attractive feature.

The only think was it looked more modern from images and star rating that it felt. It was clean and comfortable with everything you needed but the furniture and fittings looked a little drab and "brown" in the room. This is a minor comment - I probably thought it was flasher by name and images than it was. I would stay again as everything was great.

Good location easy for Trams ,Trains, even walk to city center.

    The reception staff were amazing!

The TV didn't work. But the staff did everything they could to fix it, they were brilliant. Plus it's not really a big deal not having a TV.

    9JamesPosted on: 2-10-2026

The room was excellent and very spacious, clean, tea/ coffee and water available brilliant. We used the hotel because we were going to show in the. Corn Exchange which was ideal. Hope to see you again. Thanks a million. James Byrne

    No complaints about anything.

I really liked the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. The corridors always had a pleasant smell, which shows great care for the environment. The location is also excellent and made it very easy to get around on foot during the stay.

I believe the hotel could offer more flexibility with late check-out, without the need for an extra fee, of course depending on the hotel’s availability.

Myself and 2 friends stayed in a family room.Very impressed with the adjoining rooms.

Requested a top floor quiet room and was allocated a 2nd floor room next to lift

Decent location that isn’t too busy outside. Room was very good and the people on the desk were so helpful with everything.

Nothing much wrong with it to be honest
