Facilities. On booking it was presented as a hotel, but it was a hostel. Had to buy our own soap. The shower was only cold and pressure way to high fo the type of shower head. It was even painfull. Breakfast to simple

It's convenient to Waverly Station and Bus Station. Also easy access to Princes St. Room was good value for price.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Edinburgh Central Accommodation. We booked a twin room and were very satisfied with our experience.The receptionist was extremely friendly and always welcomed us with a warm smile, which made us feel comfortable from the start. The room was clean, well maintained and we had a very good night’s sleep. The heating system deserves special mention. It was excellent and kept the room perfectly warm. When I was searching for accommodation in Edinburgh, I found some more affordable options but many reviews mentioned poor heating and cleanliness. This place offered both comfort and great value for money.The self dining area and kitchen were very convenient and there is also a laundry room, which is a big plus for travelers. The location is another advantage, it’s close to major Edinburgh landmarks and both bus and tram stops are nearby.Checkout was at 10 AM but since our return journey was at 6:30 PM, they kindly stored our luggage for free, which made our last day stress-free. They even wished us goodbye very politely.Overall, a clean, comfortable, well located and affordable place. I would definitely recommend Edinburgh Central Accommodation and would happily stay here again.
Location close to the playhouse and a short walk to shops and train station. Cafe onsite but also kitchen to use also.
Whole facility was very clean and very nice comfortable bar, dining and chill out area. Staff were friendly.

The location is really good, easy to find and convenient to take the tram from the airport. The shared kitchen is very useful and convenient, which makes your meals more cheap and delicious.
The room we stay in is cold, because the heater is not warm enough. The shared kitchen's heaters are warm.

No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel. Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hosteling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used. Parties with children under 12 years will only be accommodated in private rooms, where available. Hosteling Scotland advises that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when traveling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodations is available.
