Spacious room, great location. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

The breakfast is delicious, especially the Scottish mushrooms. The laundry service is also wonderful! The rooms remain warm in the winter.

Do not try the black puddings for breakfast rashly --- They might be of very good quality, but not to everyone's taste!

Staff were super friendly. Room was very clean and spacious.

The place was spacious and very clean. Beds were the comfiest. Modern and complete furniture.

One towel had a massive stain on it, very disappointed. The AC wasn’t turning on but the staff resolved this easily.

It was a great stay, happy with everything. The room was large and warm (in winter), the staff was friendly, the location was great.

The staff were very welcoming, the room had everything you needed and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice.

The room was spacious, modern and clean. Breakfast was great, a varied selection to choose from. The staff on the front desk were very welcoming and friendly every time we went in and out. The location was perfect for us, in between our son’s university accommodation and the old town.

Really spacious double room studio and very well kept.

The room was not great since there were several things that were not working properly, such as, the toilet door and the bed, we asked for a take out breakfast for the departure day since we needed it because were suposed to leave the hotel before 7 o'clock am and it was not served even though the reception told us they would the day before.

Clean, tidy, easy to find.

The breakfast was good. The area was very crowded. People bumped into each other a lot.

The gym was too small and had no towels and the water machine did not work. Also, there were no sanitizer wipes after using the machines. The plumbing in our bathroom groaned and moaned.

Hotel was difficult to find.Google maps sent us around in circles.

Housekeeping is superb, location is great as it is near the attractions. Breakfast good as well with supplementary drinks that you can get all the time. If we will come back to Scotland, we will definetely be staying here again! Staff are very helpful and approachable as well.

Location was so convenient for walking around Edinburgh and the morning breakfast spread was incredible. The room was large and had amenities we weren’t expecting like a kitchenette and sofa.

A little on the pricey side but it was also Christmas time.
