Beautiful location, breakfast was good.

The pool & spa is wonderful. The restaurant was a bit pricey but delicious. The room was comfy
The staff was wonderful and dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Our room was comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was effortless.
Bar staff was a bit slow. We ended up going up to the bar rather than wait longer for service.
Grounds were pretty and reception & luggage assistance (from David) were great.
No water for almost 12 hours. Hotel seems to cater to large coaches with large groups swamping facilities at same time. Most other staff was disinterested in providing basic services.
The surrounding grounds are beautiful. The staff couldn’t do enough for me! My room had all the needed amenities, even a comfy soft Highland Coo
Price for food & wine was unreasonably high
Close to edi airport Nice walking area
Our room overlooked the roof with all the pipes and exhaust from the kitchen
Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent room.
Sausage at breakfast was not a traditional Scottish sausage and eggs were a little undercooked for my taste.
Everything in this hotel is exceptional. We booked two days but we wonted to cancel the other hotel which we booked before just to stay at the Norton House, but unfortunately we couldn’t as the other hotel refused to cancel our booking.
Nothing. Maybe a bit far from the downtown, but who cares, amazing place to enjoy and relax.
Our room was located in the original house. It was a fine size and the bath fixtures were very nice and the bed comfortable. The meals were also excellent.
Our room was not equipped with air conditioning- I must have missed that when getting the room. We simply opened our window and it was quite nice.
For such a nice hotel one would expect someone to meet us at the taxi and help us with our bags. Also the reception didn't give us a map or basic info on times for breakfast.
So close to the airport but feels so far away in the country. Beautiful building and grounds with great rooms. Great food. Great welcome. Loved it.
Loved the location. Close to the airport, but feels like being in the country.
Not a thing.
This was one of the highlights of our trip! The property is beautiful with sheep roaming all over the grounds. It is super close to the airport so I would recommend staying there for the last leg of whatever trip you are on. The spa was incredible and the food was the best we had in Edinburgh!
Super minor but the towel warmers did not work. Other than that it was perfect
The restaurant, the spa, and the grounds are absolutely top notch. The original structure (an old mansion?) is stunning. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our bell hop was incredibly gracious.
The parts of the hotel that were additions (look like two separate additions) to the original mansion are a bit maze-like. Meaning that it is a bit difficult to navigate. At one point I entered the hotel from the direction of the spa. I got lost and asked the cleaning staff for help. THEY even had trouble explaining to me how find my room. It took me about a full 5 minutes to get back to my room.
A very nice Hotel just minutes away from the airport. Nice staff and rooms.
The hotel grounds are lovely. The hotel is very comfortable. Food and service in the dining room was very good. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The ability to have our transportation to the airport early in the morning included in the price of our room was convenient.
The hallways in the lower area could use a refresh.
The staff was kind and exceedingly helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The spa was so relaxing and a great way to unwind. The location was excellent for us as it was very close to the airport, but still felt secluded and peaceful. Both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were excellent meals. I highly recommend it!
Luxury in every sense, with one exception
It is a Victorian building, so it perhaps is understandable that it doesn't have air conditioning. However... the window was not opened in advance of checking in and at that, it could only open 4 inches. Not enough to cool off the room.
