    Pros +

    • Located in a great, charming, small community only 30 minutes from Edinburgh, it offers a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The staff was exceptionally friendly, accommodating and helpful. A true small town feel.
    • It is in a quaint seaside town, close to EDI airport. Many rooms have nice views of the Firth of Forth and the bridges.Nice bars and restaurants on the ground level.Friendly staff.
    • Location

    Cons -

    • I selected a room on the street side which was a bit noisy at times during the night, but that choice is on me as I am a bit of a light sleeper. I would definitely return to this hotel but choose a non-street side room.
    • Minor issues--There is only public parking on the street and in nearby lots. There is no lift, so bags must be hand carried to the 2nd and 3rd floors.
    • Very expensive for what it was and didn’t even include breakfast. If was absolutely roasting hot throughout the hotel, no air conditioning

The room was a little difficult for us to get to as we are nearly 80 and there were a number of steps. The staff however carried our luggage.

The room was very hot and the space between the end of the bed and the wall was very narrow.

Well furnished compact room, very comfortable. Restaurant excellent, wonderful view of 2 bridges across Forth, shall be back. Excellent a la carte breakfast. Great stay at short notice.

WiFi not great, difficulty accessing cloud files. Parking once found around 150M away was good

View of The Bridge.Range of TV channels (iplayer & YouTube)

There was no door between the swanky bathroom and the bedroom which was a big shock! No privacy.

The restaurant was lovely and the food was great. Waiter/Waitress service was excellent.

The room was a bit small and cleaning staff were noisy outside our room from around 9.45am.

Beautiful building in a perfect location

Bed was a bit uncomfortable - springs were close to the surface

Great location on the Firth of Forth facing the 3 bridges. Our petite double was fine for 1 night, a longer stay would recommend booking a larger room.Lovely bathroom with excellent shower, lovely toiletries and smart fittings.Antico restaurant was a good choice; lively, relaxed atmosphere and the Mussels with crusty bread were the best we have had in a long time!

The great location on a one way street means no hotel parking. I dropped husband with luggage at the door and parked for free near the old rail bridge - about a 5 minute walk. If I had turned left on the main street I possibly could have parked for free near the old road bridge, only a 2 minute walk away. Thankfully it was dry.Queensferry (south) is one way and you do have to be careful when leaving the village to get back to the motorway junction as the signage does not make it clear.
