Beautiful hotel. Attention to detail second to none. Loved our stay!

The beds were super comfortable, great breakfast, great shower , good f&b , great location, walking distance from the royal mile and also the shopping in town . Interiors were elegant and vintage yet modern.

They should open a spa / sauna .

We were lucky to be upgraded to the family suite—it was perfect for our group—my daughter, her uni friend, and me (mum). The location was ideal for the Christmas Market and other shopping. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Was upgraded as our stay was multiple nights. We liked that. Staff was great!

The door knob on one of the bathrooms fell off. It wasn’t an inconvenience. I alerted staff an they documented it. When we inquired again they said maintenance would handle on Monday. We checked out on a Sunday. Since it was reported on Friday AM felt they should have maintenance staff on site. Again wasn’t an inconvenience just felt they could have responded in better form.

Excellent location, convenient to transit and the main sections of town. The staff was incredible and extraordinarily helpful. The facility was immaculate. The daily breakfast was perfect for our family. The bar staff was wonderfully helpful with their guidance for evening cocktails.

Excellent reception! Although we arrived early, they welcomed us warmly and prepared the rooms for us. They even upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise. The hotel’s location is truly fantastic, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to the young lady who received us — her hospitality was outstanding.

The hotel is centrally located and the rooms were spacious. The staff were extremely courteous. Overall a memorable stay for a first timer to Edinburgh. Would definitely revist the place and the hotel.

So comfortable and exceptionally well located. Outstanding bed and pillows.

We had an accessible room and the bathroom had almost no areas to set something down (razors, toothpaste, toiletries, etc). It was exceptionally roomy but not always practical.

Location was very scenic. The staff was extremely friendly.

The room service phone line wasn’t working, it was a long walk to the front desk to request anything

Room was very spacious. Location is perfect, right off Princess St and close to Royal mile. Having access to laundry is always great. Couch was comfy and the Bose sound system was a great touch.

There's always construction when staying downtown in any big city. The laundry machine is a 2-in-1 but the dryer did not dry very well. Hung dry overnight did the trick.

Uber accessible / major friendly welcome good facilities in room

Beautiful hotel close to the station and the major sites. Good breakfast.
