This luxurious 5-star hotel is 164 feet from the Avenue Louise shopping area and features a peaceful garden courtyard and grapevine shaded terrace. Hotel Le Châtelain offers a modern top-floor fitness center and a 24-hour front desk. Flat-screen satellite TV comes as standard in the classically styled sound-proofed rooms. Each of the rooms at Le Châtelain Hotel also features air conditioning, a mini-bar plus a bathrobe and slippers. Guests can also make use of pay-per-view TV channels. La Maison du Châtelain serves gourmet cuisine in rich surroundings while Bartist offers a more relaxed setting. During the warmer months the hotel offers tea and cakes in the courtyard. - The staff were excellent!!!
- Staff were attentive and friendly at all times. Delightful stay.
- The hotel was safe. The bar area was nice. The lobby was beautiful.
Cons -
- It was not a 5 star hotel by any means. The rooms are outdated, the wifi is awful. The staff isn¿t particularly helpful. It was advertised to be in a much more lively area than it actually was.
- Check-in was unfriendly, no amenities of the hotel were explained. There was an overabundance of air fresheners in the hotel, the lobby, the hallways, the rooms all had very overpowering artificial scents. This was not enjoyable and harsh on the sinuses.
- There aren¿t convenient plug ins for cell phones. Internet was very slow. It might not be a good place for business trips.
