Pros +
- Location is good and it's decently clean.
- Fantastic location at an unbelievable price for the centre of Paris.Everything was clean and for £80+ per night and absolute bargain. It is a proper old fashioned no frills Paris hotel, with it's own charm. A bit noisy at night and very basic but for exploring and not being in the room much you can't fault it. Perfect place just to sleep and shower. Restaurants, supermarkets and cafes all within a few minutes walk and Pigalle metro is a few minutes walk too.
- Great location. Good sized room for the money. Fab shower.
Cons -
- Incredibly small room, like a coffin. Double bed is 140 cm and there is barely a space to stand side to the bed. Super loud, not only from outside noise but also upstairs and from the stairs, zero isolation. The building is too old. It should be checked for usage.
- It smelt a bit of someone smoking, we think maybe the receptionist at night as 24/7 but again part of the old hotel Paris charm. No lift which didn't bother us but maybe a drawback for some.
- The walls are a bit thin so you could hear some people outside your room.

We stayed at this lovely little hotel in Paris over the weekend and were really impressed. The room was compact but very clean and comfortable, making it a perfect base for a short city break. What truly stood out was the location — Pigalle Metro station is just at one end of the street and Abbesses at the other, making it incredibly easy to get around and see everything Paris has to offer. There are plenty of bars and cafés nearby, and it’s within easy walking distance of Montmartre, which was a real highlight of our trip. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for somewhere simple, well-kept, and brilliantly located for exploring the city.
Amazing view and location. As well as a nice little balcony.
The walls are a bit thin so you could hear some people outside your room.
Very friendly staff. The possibility to leave luggage before check-in and after check-out. Clean rooms and a great location — close to pretty much everything. We . We will definitly come back
Staff is excellentRoom comfortable and bed is top
4 floors without lift is unusual The sonic isolation between the rooms could be better
Great staff and perfect temperature in the room. Endless hot water
Bathroom wasn’t clean and towels were not enough. Usually we got 2 big and 2 face towels daily
the location is amazing! 10 mins walk from mont martre and 2mins from metro line 2. also i loved that there was no elevator, it gives you the authentic parisian experience!
it was less of a hotel and more of an airbnb vibe in my opinion. cleanliness was okay, room a bit small but honestly the bed was very spacious and comfortable.
The fact that you can get a fifth floor balcony for 80€ after taxes is pretty crazy, location is good and there is staff 24/7
Not sure why there’s no coffee maker or mini fridge, I would’ve really enjoyed having tea on the balcony.
The room was clean and nicely renovated. The staff were friendly.
Pillows were hard and the curtains could have been wider to keep light out.
Nice hotel if you lokk for budget kind. Not far from metro or bus stop..we go gare de est by bus..on the front road..main road. Gp to Moulin Rouge or Montparnasse..also near. Overall is good. We love.
The room itself was nice and clean. Its small but if you don't intend on staying at your hotel much then its perfect.
The wifi is awful, there is no lift so if you stay on the top floor you carrying your bags up a narrow winding staircase. You could hear the people above walking around
The location really is great, right near Montmartre, with plenty of restaurants around. It’s an okay place to stay, especially for the price in such an expensive city.
There are the usual comments about the stairs with no elevator, which are true, but they didn’t bother me much personally (though it’s important to keep this in mind if you have mobility issues). My main disappointment was the gap between what’s shown on the website and what you actually get. The rooms don’t look as nice as the photos, and there is quite a lot of mold in the bathroom, probably due to poor ventilation. The entrance hallway also consistently smells like cigarettes, which feels unprofessional. All in all, it’s unlikely I will come back.

Bathroom wasn’t clean and towels were not enough. Usually we got 2 big and 2 face towels daily
The location was great, right in Montmartre, close to the train station, restaurants, and supermarkets. The shower worked well, and although the room was small, it had everything we needed for a couple of nights. Our room had two windows with an exterior view and even a small balcony.
The facilities are old, like most buildings in Paris, but considering the city, this hotel is truly a hidden gem. There’s no elevator, so if you stay on a higher floor you’ll need to carry your luggage up the narrow stairs.
Amazing location so close to the pigale station, buses, montemarte district, moulin rouge. Nice room, nice staff!
The bathroom needs a deep clean
The hotel is a small, quiet side street hotel, brilliantly located in a quiet street but close to Metro and more importantly to one of the Must see Sights in Paris Montmartre . Room was basic but clean with generous bathroom and good shower size.Very helpful staff.
no elevator, so if you on a top floor (5) it is a lot of stairs to clime.
Room was ok and clean, location is very good
No elevator, male receptionists weren’t nice and seemed unprofessional, could hear everything what’s going on in the room next to mine
The location was great.
The black mold in the shower ( asked to move rooms) and connection of internet was a challenge.
