    Pros +

    • Nothing that was exceptional or anything to recomend.
    • Modern, clean and value for money
    • Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was really lovely. Lovely atmosphere and great hotel.

    Cons -

    • Noisy and loud. My room overlooked a central courtyard where restaurant/bar customers gathered. They were so loud I could not sleep. The hotel does not value their guests. I cannot recommend this hotel. Try a different one.
    • Nothing to complain about although breakfast was below what you’d expect from Paris
    • The hotel itself was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well designed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The main downside was the location and parking situation. The hotel is located next to a street that feels unsafe, especially in the evening. Additionally, parking is advertised as available, but in reality the hotel only offers a 25% discount at a partner parking facility nearby. Unfortunately, this parking is known for frequent car break-ins, which made us feel uncomfortable leaving our car there.Overall, a great hotel in terms of service and comfort, but the surrounding area and misleading parking information were a disappointment.

Very friendly staff and central location, many spots you might want to visit can be easily reached by metro or a longer walk.

The area is very dirty, even by Paris standards. It wasn't unusual to find people urinating on the street when coming back in the evening. Groups of rather shady men gather around the corner of the hotel so, even though I wouldn't say that the area is truly dangerous, I wouldn't recommend it for women traveling alone.

Very nice room and overall a positive experience. The location has two metro stations nearby and a lot of food options. The staff was very helpful. Perfect hotel for young couples.

    10ClaudiaPosted on: 12-17-2025

Nice hotel close to the train station and lovely restaurants. Clean room that was slightly larger than the usually tiny hotel rooms in Paris. Welcoming staff and good breakfast.

The cool design. the room size, the great staff, the terrace, plenty of good restaurants and bars in the area, transportations options.

It's our second time at the hotel. There is a new restaurant in the hotel patio and it's noisy until midnight. As I remember, in the summer the opening hours at the upper terrace and in the garden were restricted to 10PM. Now days I should have call reception to end the party after midnight...

Our room was spacious and clean. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to the train station, so you can just drop your luggage and go visit Paris. Coffee machine and kettle as well as a small fridge in the room.

The area and the entrance street is safe, but still it is a train station district.

Great location and facilities. Plenty of space downstairs to relax and meet up. Good coffee facilities.

    Pillows were too big.

Really comfortable hotel with great breakfast options for gluten-free and dairy free. Bar prices are a bit pricey but loads of places nearby so ok if not travelling solo.

Well located for exploring Paris and the neighbourhood itself was lively and interesting. The room was wonderful - we had a great interval view of the courtyard and over to the town hall. The breakfast was really nice - the selection was fair and not so overwhelming you didn't know where to start.

    9TudorPosted on: 12-3-2025

    - great location, many cafes and restaurants around- close to the metro and train station- clean room and comfortable bed mattress- great shower and water pressure- tasty pastries and fresh bread at breakfast- big bathroom and nice shower gel- quiet- nicely decorated

    - didn’t know that I can request softer pillows (saw that note about pillows during my last night - hard pillows by default) - when you check in this should be mentioned. I didn’t like the pillows at all- breakfast fruits and vegetables selection can be improved (only a small bowl of fruits and few vegetables available), also the scrambled eggs were very buttery- would be nice to not have to boil your own eggs - you need to wait like 10 minutes to boil them then more time to let them chill before peeling - faster if they are already boiled

    8FridaPosted on: 12-3-2025

Great location. Close to train stations, metro and at least a couple of nice bars around the corner. Modern styling and clean. Pretty small room, but comfortable.

    6RachelPosted on: 12-2-2025

    Clean, well equipped rooms.

Restaurant was not open as advertised. Even when they said it was open, I waited over 10 minutes and noone came to seeve me. Also the energy-saving lights in the corridors almost worked too well, often the corridors remained completely dark despite me walking through them, not overly pleasant.

Le Grand Quartier gave me the best couple of nights sleep I have had in years! The hotel had ambient lighting throughout, a comfortable bed, the ability to choose the softness of your pillow and the most amazing black out curtains. The hotel is near some nice cafes, bakeries and restaurants and very close to metro stations too. We arrived in Paris at Gare du Nord and, with fair weather, found the walk to and from the hotel easy.
