    Cons -

    • The room was very small with barely enough space to open our luggage, and the bed was also on the small side. The “liquid soap” in both the sink and shower dispensers was thick/chunky, wouldn’t flow through the pump, and didn’t lather—we had to open the container to scoop it out, and it felt more like lotion than soap. We also thought the hotel was very close to Gare de Lyon, but it’s about a 600–700m walk, which is difficult with multiple suitcases. For the price (maybe due to peak season but we think not worth the money), it was so expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in during our Europe trip with larger and better rooms. We were on the highest floor and elevator and our room door was very close to the stairwell, which felt a bit concerning with small kids. Overall, the facilities—especially the bathroom—felt old and somewhat rundown.

    • This is a very modest property, small rooms, tiny bathrooms, but if you’re looking for just a place to crash in Paris near the Gare de Lyon, this is very reasonably priced.

very nice option in Paris, good value for money. We chose this hotel because of location (Gare de Lyon), elevator and breakfast buffet. All of those options met fully our needs.

Rooms and bathrooms are quite small and simple, but it was great value for money

Basic but very clean and comfortable, great location for Gare de Lyon station.

    8ReaPosted on: 9-9-2025

Location, price and elevator was available

No AC. But acceptable specially if staying not during summer time.

Very comfortable mattress (harder is for me), friendly staff, handy location with shops and restaurants close by. Clear hotel communication.

Toilet smelled a little, could be disinfected once in a while, sliding bed base.

Easy to find, friendly staff and a very clean room for a cheap price. Ideal for a quick stopover which is what we used it for.

The hotel's location is perfect, with the metro and convenience store for snacks and water, as well as a bakery and restaurants, all within very short walking distance. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide selection. Very friendly staff.

Location was great for what we needed it was very clean and compact it was very warm and they had a fan in the room which was great.

It was very basic for the price, no kettle or extras in the room.

Love this place - really friendly people, nice neighbourhood magically close to transport links

    7NadiaPosted on: 7-24-2025

The hotel was clean and conveniently located. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made a positive difference. A decent option if convenience is your priority

The room was quite small for the price,It felt a bit expensive for a 2-star stay. Not a great value for money

The location was good to where we needed to be.

The shower did stay up, I had to hold shower head all the time. Bed was solid. Breakfast was poor, little choice and wasps around open jam jars which was off putting.

Excellent benefit/cost relation. Clean and practical. They provided a fan for these hot days and it was perfect.

    Location, safety

    Not cleaned shower cabin

    9RoderickPosted on: 7-3-2025

I loved the location and the very friendly staff. Perfect spot if you’re departing from Gare du Lyon in the morning.

I didn’t notice when booking it but the rooms have no AC and we were in France for the June heatwave of 33 degrees. Luckily it was windy at night which cooled down our room.

Good location, nice staff, great shower

    Small room, no air con,

Clean, well located to Gare de Lyon
