The room is quite old and not very clean.

It was only 5 mins walk from Gare du Nord and handy for shops and restaurants. Staff very nice and helpful.

Would have liked a kettle in the room.

Starched white linen sheets, nice clean beds

Standard of cleaning throughout hotel is woeful. .. Cobwebs, diirt, could go on..... Needs a total spring clean(there was even a little pile of dirty lift entrance, unbelievable......... All that said, had a good night sleep, was lucky, had room at the back, and the shower was excellent. The place has a charm I can't put my finger on. Bizarre.

The staff that greeted us was nice.

The are around had homeless and fecal matter on the street. The hotel should only be used by travelers as a quick stop over place if you need it. We ended up leaving 15 minutes after arriving and went to another hotel. We also were asked for $50euro cash for some sort of tax upon arrival, but our other hotel in Paris did not ask for the same. This felt like a scam. Unfortunately we pre-paid three nights on Booking.com.

Proximity to Gare Du Nord. Night staff who checked us in was pleasant and accomodatingI also felt safe bringing my children here because they have 24 hour attendant who minded the doors.

I am not sure who assigns star ratings but his is not a 4 star hotel. At best 2.5 stars! I booked 2 rooms for my family. There are obvious signs that they havw made some effort to make it look chic and elegant but would prefer to have the basic stuff like a fridge or kettle to make tea or coffee. Cracks on the wall, baseboards and the shower door did not keep water from getting into the bathroom floor. The beds were just okay. The heater took a while to warm up

Cramped, worn and outdated, questionable heat and weird odors. Cant believe it was listed as a 4 star hotel. 2 stars would be generous

Position - perfect for Gard du Nord

Very small room, clean and comfortable bed but no “comforts” such as a chair

The price is exceptional and the proximity to Gare du Nord perfect for an early start. The room was clean and had everything needed.

Nothing - those who want everything modern might be disappointed but all facilities worked well

The staff were welcoming and lovely, the location was great and surprisingly quiet.

Unfortunately the room was dated, the extractor fan in the bathroom was covered in thick thick dust and clearly had not been cleaned in quite a while, the overall cleanliness was lacking.

Quiet yet in very close proximity to the train station. Pleasant and welcoming staff; also helpful. In an interesting neighbourhood.

No tea/coffee making facility in room

Closeness and price to gare du nord, ideal to be able to travel the following day to Berlin. I travel to Paris fairly regularly once or twice a year and would look to go back

Needs a wardrobe or more hanging space for winter jackets.

Good old fashioned accomodation. Well decorated. Comfy beds, silent overnight and lovely staff. Walking distance to Gare du Nord. It was all we needed for a night of rest in between transport.

Would be nice to have a small counterfridge in the room.

A comfortable bed. Very close to Gare du Nord for Eurostar.

Ensuite bathroom was open onto bedroom.No tea making facility - this really should be included in 3* and better.

I liked the furnishing of the room. And its cleaness. I liked the staff. They were very kind.

Very welcoming, bed was super comfortable, lovely room, great shower.

Staff spoke good English, were very friendly. Made a mistake and took payment twice but quickly owned up and rectified

Excellent location as we travelled in and out of Paris on eurostar. Rooms well laid out.really comfy bed with luxurious bedding. Breakfast is good value as you can have as much as you need
