Pros +
- Great location, awesome spa, friendly staff and beautiful rooms.
- Very elegant, clean and the location is excellent. The staff was so friendly and helpful
- The rooms were spacious, had what you needed etc. modern facilities. Breakfast was good. Very walkable to many places and well located. Nice bar too.
Cons -
- Had constantly remind hotel staff to refill water and coffee on daily basis.
- Very small gym with minimal equipment - would have been good to know in advance with more pics of the gym.
- I was disapointed to be on the first floor right next to the elevator. As a woman traveler I would prefer to be on the 2 or 3 floor and not right next to the elevator. The rug in the room needs to be washed and or changed out. It is really old and dirty. The floors should also get refinished. I had also asked for twin beds but received a Queen. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but we had dinner one night. The servers were wonderful and the food was good. The location in the 8th is not where I would stay again. I have stayed in the 4th and the 6th and I prefer those. I know it was August and many places were closed but it made it difficult at dinner time to just walk to a place. Maybe in September it is better to stay in this area.

The room was pretty. The bathroom was clean and modern. The restaurant was clean and beautiful. The waitstaff were professional and friendly The front desk (the man working early morning shift) He was very kind and helpful. He ordered us an earlier taxi and made sure the driver took credit cards. The pool and spa area is gorgeous. The hotel is very beautiful.

The decor was marvelous. The spa wonderful. My daughter loved the pool and I liked the jacuzzi. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. The concierge provided great restaurant recommendations. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Great for me as well because I must eat Gluten Free. Great location for easy access to trains. Loved all the amenities. The bed, pillows and comforter were so comfortable. Very quiet.
You can not see the Eiffel Tower from the hotel unless you reserve a specific hotel room.
Overall, the staff were friendly, particularly the evening receptionist from Denmark who assisted me with the room move. He was apologetic.
Disappointing stay, after arrival on the first evening, I noticed that there were a large amount of Ants within the carpet rug under the bed. I informed reception, who said they would send housekeeping to the room. Housekeeping attended whilst I was out, they told the reception there was not a problem...When I went back to the room, the ants were still there, embedded within the carpet rug. I went back to reception, they moved me to an alternative room and were very apologetic.. At checkout, The hotel manager provided me with his business card, but did not offer any form of discount or financial apology for the issue with the ants in the room. This was not what I expected when paying over 800 EUR per night.
Location plus luxury
Small property had a problem had no one to fix it on a Sunday night.
Very clean, extremely friendly staff, 10-15 walk from a lot of places. It was my second time and I will be staying here again when in Paris.
The room had great facilities - fancy toilet, great shower, TV with Netflix and Youtube, really good iron. Everything was brand new and clean. Staff were efficient and almost friendly but all very polite. Well located between the two areas you want to visit. Turn down service and little old man for concierge too; can't fault the place
Superb location for Paris shopping and sights - rooms nicely decorated and equipped. Water replaces daily and more if required, beds comfortable and staff very helpful.Continental breakfast very nice - cooked breakfast limited to just omelette which was a shame
My Experience at the Hotel:First of all, I would like to thank the hotel staff for their warm hospitality. The building is relatively small, but it has beautiful details that you might not even find in some five-star hotels. One standout feature is the ability to control all the room lights and curtains directly from the bed, which adds great convenience. The toilet seat was extremely comfortable and equipped with water spray and heating functions — a rare feature in many hotels.Service was impressively fast; whatever you need, they respond quickly as soon as you call. One thing I noticed is that the hotel pays a lot of attention to the smart panel outside the rooms. When you activate the “Do Not Disturb” sign, no one will knock on your door. However, if it’s not activated, housekeeping might enter — so make sure to use the sign when needed. One final note: the security deposit is quite high (500 euros), so it’s better to pay it in cash in order to get it back easily upon checkout.Thank you!
Great hotel in a fab location.Parisian chic! Rooms great, especially bathrooms, fantastic shower and toilet. Staff exceptional
More bottled water in the rooms,
Fantastic staff, all very friendly and helpful. Good location, quiet at night. Room very comfortable.
I dont have any negatives.
Excellent location. The swimming pool in the middle of Paris is amazing and the rooms quiet and stunningly decorated
Everything, beautiful rooms, spacious bathroom, heated toilet seats. Friendly staff.
Hair and ants on bed
Management were not helpful in sorting the issue
Beautiful room , that’s all.
It’s the worst hotel experience I ever had in my life. Dirty glasses, which I waiting , and asking many times, no face kits during a week, and even after asking them told me that they didn’t have it, no sorry’s , no nothing , no alternatives, no normal room service, I called at the room services from my number , 4,5 or more times, and it’s never been answered. The registration stage was the worst, - they said u one day one information, in another day, - another information, with words “ I told it yesterday madam” but yesterday he told me just 100 % another information. Also, no help with ur stuffs, if u change the room number. Also, old towels. Last, but not least, when I changed one room to another one , I forgot one my thing, so, it was a big thing , that u can’t miss, but because of no normal help and information, I hurry when pack my stuffs, and forgot it. No one, told me about it, about finding my stuff which I forget, so I guess it’s like steal moment , because khm guys , I was at hotel up to 2 more days, after forgetting it , and no one return it , no one said about finding it. Magically it founds only after I asking while check out, ( them told , that they the to find it) , and found, after I wrote them about it one more time. And leave the country. 5 stars ?????? No , if u have beautiful only building , it’s not 5 stars. It must be service. This hotel is the worst 3 stars service , maximum
the roof top suite was great. The view was stunning
room service menu is too small and not very tasty
The hotel has an amazing location, the rooms are spacious and clean . Staff are just out of this world ?The reception staff were so helpful and kind . The gentlemen in the restaurant are so generous. The two gentlemen by the door are so friendly. The management team are just so professional. And we come to the crème de la crème of the hotel the concierge, Mr. Gerald. He can just make miracles come true, he is the golden card of the hotel. Please if you visit Paris, don’t miss the opportunity to stay in this beautiful hotel .
Everything at Hotel Bowmann was fantastic. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful - a special shout out to the best concierge in the whole of Paris (and possibly the world): Gérald. He was kind, helpful and such a gentleman - a true highlight of our stay. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect, it has everything you would need an more. I will definitely be staying again when I return to Paris.
