Hôtel Henri IV Rive Gauche

This hotel is an oasis of calm in the heart of Paris. Very clean and orderly throughout the hotel and in the room, staff were gracious. Avery quiet and restful place. Could not choose a better location. Delightful in every way.

Room needs some updating - sink cracked & did not drain.

Great location near restaurants and destinations.

Location is great, only a few blocks from saint Germain des pres area and close to metro. Very comfortable beds but small if you’re in a single. 3 bed room is great for travelling with friends. In a corner.

Breakfast we didn’t get because it’s all cold food and pastries.

Never happened

We never got to stay at this hotel. A couple of hours before check-in we were notified no room was available due to "technical problems." They put us in a sister hotel in another district and we were not happy. We had selected this hotel because we had several appointments in the neighborhood and expected to walk to them. From the other hotel, we had to take a taxi both directions 3 times more than we had expected. Very unhappy.

It was a little funky - the room needed some updating but the view was incredible and the location stellar! The staff was lovely.

Breakfast was ok, feels a little unaddressed inside.

Location, 24hr reception, elevator, super-clean, modernized, attractive aesthetic, priced right. Shakespeare and Co is on the corner. Cathedral Notre Dame is a short walk. I will always stay here when I visit Paris.

Small room with a non working heater. It was fixed the next evening but the first night was rough in freezing temperature.

The view is amazing. Right in front of this beautiful old church. Just about across from Notre Dame, veey close. Location can't be beat. The price is right and the staff was very nice.

Everything was perfect

The room for three of us was perfect, and I love the location, and I just loved the quaintness and charm of the hotel

The location is excellent. Facilities a little better than expected for the price in Paris. Small room as expected but clean. Staff was friendly except for one at reception. Not rude, just disinterested. The other lady at reception was great.

Amazing location, wonderful staff, optional breakfast, clean, cosy, quiet. Rooms well fitted with storage and lighting.

The location was amazing. Close to several metros, food, popular sites. Bed/pillow were comfortable. Shower was hot with amazing water pressure. Staff was always super friendly and helpful. They cleaned the room and refreshed towels everyday. Room was good size for 3 adults with 3 twin beds. Room was ready when we arrived at 10:00am and they let us check in early.

Paid 80 USD for a romantic welcome expecting roses, they left a bouquet and a small box of chocolates that looked more like decorations than anything romantic. The romantic welcome package had roses in the photo.

Excellent location— easy access to RER to the airport, and a very close walk to Notre Dame. View from our room was amazing!

Bed very comfortable, rooms small but nice, location great

I thought the breakfast was included so we ate there every day. It was less that ideal to say the least, 16E for ok scrambled eggs, small croissants, not fresh fruit cocktail. and in Paris of all places some small unsatisfactory thin slices of mediocre cheese cheese in cellophane.unbelievable --in Paris with some of the best cheese in the world!I was appalled at the breakfast

We loved our room, the location, and the staff! Our room was cozy and clean. The lighting fixtures were perfect, with reading lights on each side of the bed. We loved the color scheme, too. Our location was right in the middle of the Latin Quarter. So many food options - Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, French, Colombian, etc. The church accross the streeet was beautiful and we were a block from the Seine and Notre Dame. One morning, we walked to then end of our block and had breakfast facing Notre Dame with NOTHING blocking our view. Also, the hotel was close to three usefull Metro stations.

The location is perfect, and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

One of the windows needs to be repaired because the knob is missing, so we were unable to open it to let fresh air in.

This hotel is in a great location to Notre Dame and the Pantheon. The hop on hop off bus (Toot Bus) stops right across the street!The front desk is manned 24 hours and the staff is wonderful with lots of recommendations. If you ask she will help you tie your scarf correctly ?

The AC did not work well but the windows open wide for crisp fresh air…just a little noisy from laughter on the street.
