Hôtel de Lille - Saint-Germain des Près

Hotel is centrally located with most tourist sites within walking distance. Staff were wonderful, I can't compliment them enough. They were friendly, personable and extremely helpful and attentive. The staff alone warrants the star rating level.

The tradeoff for convenience was lack of space. The well appointed room was genuinely tiny. There was barely room to shinny between the wall and the very comfortable bed to get in it.

The location is great if you want to visit the museums and the area is quiet, more upscale with art galleries, restaurants and boutiques in walking distance. The staff at reception are very friendly and polite, at all hours. The rooms were cleaned very well every day.

The room was well designed but absolutely tiny. Only 30 cm next to the bed on each side and not enough space to put suitcases or hang clothes.

The location couldn't be better- right in the river side of Saint Germain and one block from the Musee D'Orsay

This was my second time staying at your hotel. During my first stay, I had booked a 17-square-meter room, and I was assigned Room 11, which was very comfortable and spacious.Based on that experience, I assumed that booking a 17-square-meter room again would offer the same conditions. However, this time I was given a room that was extremely small and not comparable at all to my previous stay.It now appears that Room 11 was not actually 17 square meters and was significantly larger. This discrepancy led me to choose the same room category for my second stay under the wrong assumption, which resulted in disappointment.

I enjoyed my stay here, great location. The reception is very kind and helpful. Clean.

Very small rooms.

comfortable bed and high quality linens -- both sheets & towels. Toiletries were high quality & nice selection. Glad to have a side chair in room. Lighting was great. Good to have blackout curtains. Glad to have a small refrigerator. Location for seeing main sites was fantastic -- very central to most major sites. Close to metro & public transit.

Room was tight -- glad just me. The shower was tight -- glad I'm small. Wish there was coffee / hot pot for water in room. Nearby coffee business opened at 7:30am at earlest.

Quiet, central location. Beautiful modern boutique hotel. Lovely breakfast in the cellar dining room. Great restaurants nearby. Perfect for exploring Left Bank, Louvre, plus easy access to metro and buses for all of Paris. We loved the space and layout of our top floor Suite.

Excellent location and friendly staff who speak great English. The breakfast is very French in style, with freshly squeezed orange juice made to order. There is a wide selection of cold meats, salads, and a variety of delicious French pastries. Highly recommended!

The room was tiny. I was told it was a standard size for a hotel in Paris. But we kept bumping into the glass side wall as there was little space between bed and glass wall. There is hardly any storage space. A little cupboard on top of the bar fridge meant that long coats couldn’t stand upright. I created some space for my partner by removing some of the books on the open shelves. No place to put handbags or folded sweaters. The bedside table is just a plank. It would for eg help if it had two drawers. The hooks for the bathrobe or towels were over the wc. One of the female staff not friendly at all. They had sent me a form to fill in about extras I wanted. We ticked the slippers but in fact they weren’t there. When I went down to reception she brushed the form off saying it was just a formality. I waited for her to find me a pair - she said they had run out of them and then fetched two pairs. My pair were both right flip flops. The gentleman at reception the following morning sorted this out. The lift is so tiny two people wearing rucksacks don’t fit in. My partner’s rucksack kept getting caught in the lift door so we decided to go up separately. The location is great which is why we went there again. The first time in March we had internet problems. This time WiFi connection was fine. If I were to return to this same hotel I would ask for a junior suite as the room we were allocated was claustrophobic.
