Pros +
- Perfect location - right next to the Grand Boulevardes, but on a quiet street (we could sleep comfortably with fresh air and open windows on a weekend night). Plenty of cafes and restaurants around, right at the metro station. Very comfortable beds and - which is really rare - pillows! Slept like a baby. A lot of space in the room, luxurious for Paris at this price. The personnel was friendly and helpful.
- We go there whenever we are in Paris. Great location and very nice, quiet room. The breakfast is simple but just what you need to start the day.
- The staff was absolutely incredible and so accommodating. We left medication in the room and when we checked out of the room, we spent several hours in Paris. When we came back for our luggage we realized we were missing the medication and two of the people at the front desk went through all of the trash of the hotel to help us find the medication that the cleaning person had thrown out. My one recommendation would’ve been for the cleaning person to notify them of the things we had left in the room and to have a dedicated area for that. The shampoo and conditioner were great quality.
Cons -
- No hair conditioner, no body balm - an irritating surprise at this standard. No kettle in the room, so you have to go downstairs each time you want to drink sth, only mini cups and glasses available. There was no trashbin in the room, only a tiny one in the bathroom. The room was a bit worn out, with old stains on the carpet. The staircase was under renovation during our stay.
- The elevator is very small, it barely fits two people, and doesn’t fit one person plus their suitcase.
- The bedroom we were allocated was awful. It was room 504 and the bathroom was tiny no wash hand basin in the actual bathroom it was beside the bed. The bathroom really upset me during my stay with my partner it was so small you could not use the toilet without watching your head on the shower glass. The glass door on the shower was on a hinge that worked both ways but only opened 45 degrees to get in and I was terrified the glass would break.Using the WC was a nightmare and I am a small man so imagine a larger person. The tiles in the shower room were dreadful and mouldy. The bedroom French window would not close properly and the mechanism was clearly broken well before our stay.Outside the property is club/bar Monaie and it’s open all night long at weekends so you hear music boom boom all throughout the night and it actually only stopped at 7 am Sunday morning. Not a restful stay and on 5th floor imagine the 1st floor. The staff clearly have issues as we witnessed long discussions with the reception staff and cleaners during the coffee & croissant morning period.I wasn’t relaxed at all & I didn’t raise issues with them as I am sure they were full and any room move may have not really improved matters.I also felt even if I had raised concerns they would have seen it as a repeat complaint they have heard before.I have stayed in many small hotels in paris but the standard here was not worth the € 690 euros we paid for 4 nights.Never again were my thoughts as we departed.

The property itself has so much potential and I can see improvement has been made in some bedrooms and the ground floor reception but it’s far from complete.

Location, helpful staff, English speaking, very comfortable beds and pillows. Great communal lounge, close to supermarket, very close to metro lines 4,8,9
The heating kept turning up at night.
We arrived before check in but they willing to keep our luggage!Clean and good restaurants are in walking distance!
Good room and location for that price.
No teapot in the room.
Very friendly and helpful stuff, good location, free tee/ coffee and croissants.
It was too strong smell of cleanser on the stairs.
The room is nice and clean. A bit small, but it is typical for Paris. The common room is really nice and you can indulge yourself with a nice paris breakfast here.
Staff Location Common areas

The property is very cosy, close to many good cafes and restaurants
The lift is very small, looks like an after-thought. At night time, you need the front desk staff to let the guests in. If the staff is not around, there is no way to call.
Checked in early. Personal helpful and friendly. Excellent location near metro.
location; staff; style
Good location, friendly staff
Very small bathroom
Lovely reception area, welcomed the free croissants, tea, coffee, juice for breakfast.Spacious, relaxing room.
A kettle in room would be a welcome bonus.Room was big enough for an even larger bed which would have been extra nice.
We chose this hotel for its location, a few stops on the metro from Gare du Nord, then a 2 minute walk. We were upgraded from a standard to superior room, a complimentary croissant and hot drinks/juice were included. We were able to walk to all attractions within 20-30 minutes. The hotel is in a quiet location but within 10 minutes walk of Le Marais, plenty of places to eat and shop. The staff were very friendly.
The rooms are small in Paris and there was little storage in our superior twin room.
- good wifi- positioned close to Gare de l'Est and Porte Saint-Denis- staff was friendly- pretty clean
- it was cold in the room. the heating was controlled from downstaris and it was done through an old AC. Didn't really work.- very small bathroom- the room didn't look like in the photos. the walls looked prety rough and the there was basically a hazard above the bed with the lights cover. - beds not very comforatable- breakfast was just a croissant and juice/coffee (not much of a bother since it was free)

Excellently placed. I was able to walk to it from the Gare du Nord, and then from it to Notre Dame etc. Very close to the metro, which I only used once because of the pouring rain; the rest of the time I walked. I enjoyed the small breakfast and especially waking up to the smell of baking croissants. Also well placed for restaurants for my evening meal. I loved the stair carpet! The hotel suited me very well as a solo, older (71 years old) female traveller. I will return if I visit Paris again.
Stylish, clean and friendly.
Bed was tiny for two. Quite noisy at night with the nightclub opposite.
