Hotel Des Arts-Bastille

Great location for a few minute walk to metro stations where we could access more central areas. Lots of cafe and bakeries in the vicinity meaning you could get a morning coffee. Property had lovely decor and balcony style windows. It felt clean and comfortable.

We put a do not disturb sign on our room as we did not want our room making up and whilst we were our, housekeeping staff entered anyway moving our belongings etc. We also did not have a safety deposit box.

The hotel is located near a metro station and is very accessible to all the sights. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was really nicely furnished, clean modern and comfortable. More than enough for 2 people for the weekend. Quite a compact room but it’s furnished with that in mind - the window opening onto the road was nice for fresh air too.Staff were very helpful and friendly, a great stay.

The staff was very kind, allowed us to check in late and kept our luggage after check out. The room was a standard side for Paris, quite comfortable and clean. The location is very convenient. I would stay there again.

The location was convenient, with buses and metro nearby, while having a restaurant attached to the hotel made eating out very easy. The staff were helpful and the room was clean. The buffet breakfast was good.

Although the room size was given on the booking, the room was more cramped than we had anticipated. It stated that it had a balcony, but this was not a functional facility. The bedside tables were too small and the space in the en-suite only just adequate. The free wifi was particularly poor, it was not practical to download any large files; streaming experienced buffering. For us, this accommodation would not have been suitable for a longer stay.

The property was in a great location and the staff were great and friendly. They spoke English which helped a lot. There was an elevator for the luggage. Shower pressure was good and bed was soft but comfortable. The room had good black out curtains. Rooms were clean and neighborhood was quiet and we could sleep with windows open

We stayed in room 601. The room was not as advertised in the pictures and was really very small for two people (bed basically touched top and bottom of the room ie: whole width of room). The pillows are terrible as they are the square continental pillows not standard pillows making it extremely uncomfortable. The water temperature in the shower was not consistent and changed between hot and cold constantly. The room really needed a proper paint job as it looked like water had leaked in the room. Finally rooms are not sound proof at all and we could hear everything from our neighbors

It was easy going and friendly, small room but well designed, comfy bed and cute bathroom. Perfect for a short biz trip.

The hotel is very nice and in a good location, next to several metro and/or bus stops, so the centre is easy to reach.The room was perfect for two people, the bed very big and the bathroom has everything you need. I've loved the painted picture on the wall! There is a good boulangerie next to it and different restaurants.I totally suggest it for a weekend in Paris!

For us was not a problem, but maybe the lift is too small.

Great location, access to multiple metro stations/lines. Great size for a couple of nights, got everything you need. Staff were really kind and helpful. Felt like a very safe neighbourhood.

great value for short stay near the opera Bastille. Staff helpful . We were very satisfied

Our only issue was the lack of a range of tea bags eg english breakfast or earl grey -very limited herbal only and only coffee ( which was good) in rooms

Great little hotel, freshly decorated, in a terrific locale 15 mins from the Marais, with bags of restos and cafes closer to home. Friendly staff too!

Any time I had issues the staff were always on hand to try and help, and they were very friendly. We could get extra tea and coffee for the room in the lobby.

The room was absolutely tiny and one of the lights by the bed didn't work. Worse, the heating didn't work for two nights - one night the porter could help, the other he couldn't. I would not stay again.

It was close to great restaurants and in a good area. Close to Le Merais.

The walls had spill stains on it so I wish it was a bit cleaner. And there was no toilet paper holder which was minor but overall ok. I had a small pouch with my chargers go missing after I left it on the bed. Once I told staff they were able to I investigate it and find it. They explained it must have been in the blankets while they were changing the sheets. It was found so I appreciate that.

The staff was extremely friendly; the rooms were comfy and charming. Good restaurants right across the street. Overall great place to stay.

The location is nice and it is easy to walk around as well as underground stations.The room is as it is described, quite small but for one or two days is ok.

The rooms are really, really small, and our heating unit was not working properly because it indicated that it needed to be cleaned. It was never cleaned during our stay, even though the machine clearly showed this.Sometimes the light and everything went out. (Like a power outage.)
