Hotel Monterosa - Astotel

Room was decorated perfectly for a Parisian escape. So close to everything. Wonderful snacks and drinks available certain times of the day for weary travellers. Delicious breakfast if required.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. There is free coffee, tea and snacks from 2 pm on at all their locations in Paris regardless of which one you’re staying at. I thought the location of the Monterosa in Montmartre was perfect and the price was reasonable. Nice breakfast. The rooms are small as is the case with many older European hotels but very clean and nicely appointed.

This is my second stay at this hotel.The hotel's staff, location and cleanliness are very good. When I come to Paris again, I will choose the same hotel.

Good location, several metro and bus stations nearby, many cafes and shops.Also you can enter to any Astotel hotel in Paris and have a free coffee or something else in the hotel restaurant, and taste some goodies or just have some rest.

The hotel building is old and accordingly everything in it is small: in the room we didn't even try to arrange things, 2 opened suitcases on the floor took up all the space. Super tiny elevator where only 2 people fit. Or 1 person and 1 suitcase :)Unfortunately, you can't change this and it wasn't a big problem for us. That's not what people come to Paris for.Another inconvenience was the low tables in the restaurant. If you just want to drink some coffee, it's ok, but having breakfast is so inconvenient.

The property was sparkling clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful especially the gentleman who checked us in. The location is just perfect 13-15 mins walk to Galaries Lafayette and has lots of restaurants around. Also walking distance to the train station.

Great hotel with great staff. Delicious breakfasts. Rooms are cleaned every day. We asked for a room with a balcony and our request was granted. They gave us a room with a balcony on the fourth floor. Ty for great stay

The decor, the warmth, the location, the staff, the mini bar and round the clock snacks.

The size of the shower and the elevator. The elevator is tiny, so was the shower in my room.

It’s not too far from St Lazare station. The staff is so friendly. This property has got some style! I like the small details like the free mini bar, free water at the lobby, and the cool keycard.

Haven’t found anything

The staff were friendly and cheerful. Overall, we were satisfied, but the room we were given was in the attic. I wouldn’t want to stay in a room without a window that can be opened — we couldn’t get any fresh air, and it felt suffocating. You just want to open a window and breathe. Apart from the fact that the window couldn’t be opened, there was no other issue. The rooms are clean and cleaned nicely every day. Drinks are added to the minibar daily and are free of charge. Downstairs, there are usually complimentary offerings like coffee, nuts, cake, etc. They seem to be trying to maintain a consistent standard in every aspect.

As I said, the windows should be able to open.

Friendly staff, VERY clean. Nice amenities. Fluffy white clean towels. Great location, nice safe and clean area, supermarkets nearby, close to Pigalle/ Clichy. Good facilities in the room including tea and coffee. Good air conditioning. Nice view from the room onto a quiet street.

I liked everything. The elevator could be faster and the front desk/ lobby could look more professional, but these are not problems, just comments.

very welcoming with nice guestres but i think they can add a littke bit of service for their customers such transportation to the hotel plus my big concern was about the TV channels are only for french speaking person no single chanel in english

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mom. She is really satisfied with the amazing staff and amazing helpfulness of the team, and going above and beyond to support and guide the cleanliness of the facility was exceptional. A special thanks to the lady at the reception desk who went above and beyond and helped get to the bus station.

Do not stay there

Literally dangerous stay: apparently gas pipe overheated which caused the fire alarmWhat is worse during 30 minutes following fire alarm we have been told by receptionist that everything is OK and it was just someone smoke in the room.Until finally someone else rushed in to every door shouting Out out out!! – so actually we were in danger all the time! Fire truck arrived and been checking the hotel for an hour.Not only we are shocked by the danger staff put us into by mistakenly calming us down and making stay; we certainly had to skip many plans we did in Paris that day and literally ZERO compensation provided / offered by the hotel.So bad maintainance / equipment, incompetent personnel putting people in danger and zero client service. My last stay in this chain.
