New Hotel Republique

Loved the helpful staff, art deco rooms, breakfast service, walkability, and close to metro.

Needs more plantbased breakfast options

A functional hotel but a little lower than 4 stars rating. A nice breakfast, however, and lovely hospitality touches

The location is perfect.

It is an older Paris establishment with carpets and heavy curtains, if you are prone to allergies/ asthma maybe not the best option for you.

there was a construction site in front of my room, very noisy in the early morning the toilet was not very clean and the room in general

Atmospheric hotel at walking distance from Republique. Incredibly small room but with every amenity, a good bed, toiletries, and I loved the décor of the room. Staff were super helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is very convenient with all the public transport within 3 minutes walking. Breakfast is modest, but it was still good and nutritious. Staff at the breakfast area is also super friendly and polite! Big advantage is availability of elevator, as it can be quite difficult to use stairs with luggage. Room itself was spacious and clean, providing all the necessary items, like hairdryer, iron, bathrobes and towels, toiletries etc. Bed was very comfy!

Bathroom was not quite comfortable, because shower is located right near the entrance. Also it seemed like there was no heating in this part of the room. It was felt very vividly compared to the well-heated sleeping section! Besides this fact, everything was very comfortable.

Staff friendly from the very beginining. Room small but enough for one or two nights. Bed comfortable but pillows not necessarily. Breakfast and coffee nice, all you need is there.Location of the hotel good, two metro stations just around the corner. Super market around the corner, plenty of restaurants.

I don't understand how you can put a transparent glass door in the bathroom?It doesn't make any sense, even if people who know each other well are in the hotel.After all, the bathroom is a place where you need some privacy, and you don't want anyone to see you seating on the toilet.

Great location near to Oberkampf and Republique metro stations. Only 4 stops on the metro from Gare du Nord. Plenty of cafes bars and restaurants in the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful

We had a lovely stay! The staff were wonderful and very helpful — especially Stella :). The breakfast was simple but very nice and enjoyable. The hotel’s location is perfect, close to everything we needed.

Often, there was no refill of fresh cups, tea, milk, or body cream. However, when you asked for it, they would provide it. The only problem was that you’d expect, after mentioning it once, they would make sure it was replenished every day :) — but that wasn’t the case. We had to remind them daily

The room was very outdated dirty and smelt of smoke . The shower hasnt been cleaned properly. I felt like i had to wear socks my whole stay as didnt feel comfortable taking them off. Felt dirty. I had to sleep with the window open as it smelt that strong of smoke.

Oberkampf district is nearby, where a lot of what's new in Paris starts. Clean and comfortable

AC was temperamental ... Could be I am just confused how it works. Tiny bathroom.

The location was brilliant, staff very nice

The bed was uncomfortable and the room was not clean. Lots of dust on the feature wall behind the bed and mould in the shower. The door to the toilet was so close to the actual toilet you couldn’t sit down with the door closed.

Location and great coffee shop, grocery store and bakery close by. Good paid parking “YES PARK” 5 minute walk away

Small rooms, mirror in cabinet, not enough table area

Nice hotel, very clean, good breakfast, comfy bed. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by, and short walk to the metro for sightseeing further afield.

The staff were very helpful; we enjoyed the breakfast and the location.

No side tables beside the bed. I had nowhere to put my classes.

Booked room was very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff were excellent during my stay.

After arriving at 1am I was originally placed into room 601 on the top level which was not a Superior King room. This room is two small single beds pushed together. The next morning I questioned this with the front desk and they respectfully moved me to a room per my booking discription. My new room was wonderful. Suggest the hotel separate this room and describe and price differently to avoid complaints.

Customer service , especially front desk were fantastic,. Convenient to trains stations and love area with lots of great cafes and eating areas. Great value for money and breakfast was yummy.
