    Pros +

    • Pleasant staff, nice clean room and bathroom Excellent for proximity to station and getting around
    • The Hotel is centrally located ten minutes walk to the Gare de Lyon and the Quai de la Rapee Metro Stations. The Hotel is in a quiet street with other hotels and I felt completely safe in the area. There was no internal or external noise. The hotel uses reusable soap dispensers. There is 24 hour reception. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is continental and simple but sufficient. There was sufficient seating and the food and drinks laid out such that queues did not form in obtaining the food. There are restaurants opposite the Gare de Lyon. You need to leave your key at reception.
    • Very close to Gare de Lyon. Quiet street but close to restaurants and stores. Friendly and helpful staff. I do recomend this hotel.

    Cons -

    • For the size of room, the price felt a little high, but this is offset by the hotel’s proximity to the Gard de Lyon.
    • It’s quite noisy and the shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor.
    • Cleaning trolley left in front of elevator so unable to exit elevator. Step out of elevator step into the room. Room small and dinghy not built for 4 adults. Can’t move in the bathroom or shower so did not have a shower. Would have been better to sleep on a bench in the Railway station. This should not be on Booking.com it’s awful.

    Location is great, however big...

It’s quite noisy and the shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor.

Nothing. Most disgusting 1 bedroom ever.

Relatice clean, short distance to gare de lyon and eating places

They never swept behind the door and the hotel requires one to leave room key behind at the reception.

Location is nearby Lyon train station and also very close to the famous church. Stuff are good

Rooms are too cramped and expensive. May be most of the hotel of Paris is like this. Breakfast is not entertaining

The hotel rooms were really clean. We had a double room and a triple room & they were next to each other which was good. The bed was comfy. The showers were great. The location was good, lots of restaurants & boulangeries, good transport links, a pharmacy and convenience store nearby. There was complementary tea and coffee in reception.

There was a slight smell of drains in one of the rooms when we arrived. This went away when the shower had been used and did not return during our stay.

My brother and I where there for a very short visit. We were travelling by train to London from Spain. Unfortunately our train from Barcelona to Paris was late and we missed the the connection to Paris. We arrived in Paris very late and had only a 6 hour stay instead of the 14 hour stay that we had hoped to have. The room was fine for a short stay of 1 or 2 nights. It was clean and the beds, although not very wide, where comfortable. The owner was able to accommodate our late arrival, which we were very grateful for and he also helped us with directions to the metro to the Gare du Nord.

The place was good for a short stay. Unfortunately we were not able to have breakfast as we had to leave early. There didn't seem to be a lift so be prepared to walk up the stairs with your belongings.

Clean room near Gare de Lyon. Cheaper than most acommodation in Paris. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was very plain. Small pillows. There was occasionally an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drains.

The Hotel is near Gare de Lyon, in a quiet street. Our room was small but clean and comfortable enough, and this is what we needed for an one night stay during our journey. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a basic hotel, but our room was really clean and comfortable and the shower was fabulous. The staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel was busy, full of restaurants with families, so felt very safe. The price was very good and the location was excellent for catching a very early train from gare de Lyon.

    Nothing, great for the price.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and is located very conveniently for Gare du Lyon. There are plenty of places to eat that are close to the hotel so it is a very good base. An easy walk to the Bastille and less than 10 minute walk to Gare du Lyon if you have a train to catch.

    Clean, good location, quiet.

bathroom too small and with an illogical layout. And then too expensive for that

    6LaurenPosted on: 10-11-2025

    Good location.

The towels were stained. And the hotel was quite noisy (doors slamming multiple times, people being loud...)

    10KellyPosted on: 10-10-2025

Great location to train station, staff was friendly and helpful, and they held our luggage at no charge

    8CharlesPosted on: 10-7-2025

    Close to Gare du Lyon

A bit Spartan on deco front but very clean

    6BrendaPosted on: 10-4-2025

location near Gare de lyon only 5 mins walk on a quiet well lit street Room was very clean and quiet could not hear traffic or other residents bathroom very clean and modern fittings Breakfast at 10euros was acceptable

Bed was too narrow and very marshmallow soft with a too small pillow and no sheet only a quilt .The extractor fan in the bathroom seemed to continually run which was annoying it only needed to connect to the shower .Breakfast lacked cereals, eggs, toaster, hot chocolate Overpriced room
