Hotel Albe Bastille

The staff was friendly I endless and helpful. The location was super. Checkout time at 11:30 is nice, compared to 10:00 at most hotels. We were able to leave our luggage early, before checking, as well as after checkout. Definitely, good value.

Incredibly friendly and competent staff. Greeted warmly and given information upon walking through door. Room was available earlier than expected. Very comfortable and clean. Location outstanding (between 2 metro stops on different lines).

there was nothing to not like. Room was small by US standards but large by French standards. Very nice.

breakfast was very good , location was a little far out from the Notre Dam which I wanted to visit but not really that bad .Room was quiet and comfortable .

Nice breakfast, and close to Gare De Lyon train station. Very nice large shower .

Clean and pretty

Kind of very small room, just fit two single beds put together, there wasn't enough room left to open the carry ons comfortably.

Hotel is quite small and has a very vintage vibe to it (Paintings on the walls, stone walls and floors, lights in shape of candles...). It's within walking distance of place de la Bastille, and there are 2 metro lines which are 5 mins from the hotel entry. Additionally, if you are up for it, you can go on foot to the louvre and everything else which is in the vicinity, although it will take you ~45min to do so. If you are up for a night out, there are bunch of nice places around the hotel, and the whole part of the city is quite lively, so you'll find a spot to hang out easily.

Noise isolation could be better, especially near the room door, since they aren't sealed, so you can hear pretty much everything going on in the hallway. Good thing was that there are 3 rooms per section, so this wasn't really that much of an issue.

Location is great, and the room overall was nice - especially the shower.Quiet, elevator is a plus and the staff were kind.

Just outside the hotel door there is a homeless guy..Very small room.

It was in an ideal location for my purpose of visiting the Accor Arena to see Lara Fabian.

I did not have breakfast, but the location was excellent for its proximity to the Bastille opera house and within walking distance from the Gare de Lyon - which is why I have stayed at the hotel a good number of times. In addition, the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

The weather the following day!

This hotel is excellently located for travel from Gare De Lyon. We found it very convenient for touring the centre of Paris and is a short walk from several Metro stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff and in a wonderful local area. Perfect overnighter for an early departure from Gare de Lyon the next morning.

The room was uncomfortably warm and air conditioning didn’t work.

I only overnighted, arrived 21.30 and left for my train at Gare De Lyon at 06.00. Room was absolutely fine in all respects. I would use the Hotel again if I am on the same schedule.

Very well priced for being such a convenient location - it's close to Gare de Lyon and also walkable to some key attractions - I was able to visit Notre Dame in the morning (around 30 mins on foot each way) and head back to the hotel to checkout before taking my train at noon. The slightly later than average checkout time of 11.30am was helpful. Comfortable bed, with basic but useful amenities such as a kettle wth tea and a hairdryer. Seemed quite clean.

It was a little noisy outside in the late evening but not enough to disturb sleep.
