Nouvel Hotel Eiffel

The location and the staff was very nice and helpful.

It was definitely nothing fancy. It was small and kind of dingy and smelled like smoke but it was fine for a few nights at a low price.

Lift very small, stairs precipitous, and breakfast poor value for money - we went to the excellent boulangerie over the road!

If I’m honest there was not anything I can think of.

1. The pictures advertised were deceiving, rooms were very small. 2. The room was very cold and the thermostat would not let us make the room warmer. It would only allows us to raise the temperature more than 26 degrees.3. No refrigerator 4. We chose not to include breakfast but this is the first “hotel” that refuse to sell us coffee because we didn’t include the breakfast. This was very strange.5. My girlfriend and I stayed at the room and sometimes ordered through Uber eats. This is the first time a “hotel” made me feel uncomfortable asking for utensils so we can eat. They were nice enough to let us borrow them but put a lot pressure on us to return them. The one gentleman claimed that I need to bring it back or the owner would get upset. Is this a hotel or a hostel? I was confused. 6. Lastly, and we take part blame for this. But since my girlfriend and I were partying all night for the New Year, we overslept and past the check out time. We rushed to get ready but I thought about asking for a little more time and when I did the reception scolded me. Saying I already took 30 min more and that I needed to get out now. I get it, we are to blame for that but I certainly did not expect that reaction. Although, in my experience hotels were able to give at least one hour more for a late check in but fine, maybe this hotel couldn’t, but maybe be a little more friendly.

What I really liked about this accommodation was its location. The hotel is close to metro and bus stations, which makes getting around very easy. There are also many markets and shops nearby, so it’s very convenient if you need to buy anything during your stay.

What I didn’t like was the size of the room. I have visited Paris before and stayed in hotels, but this was definitely the smallest room I have ever stayed in. There wasn’t enough space even to open my suitcase.

The desk in the room made the room feel even smaller than what it was. And we only get 2 pillows.

Good stuff

Very noisy. Impossible to sleep-you hear neighbours everywhere even when they plush the toilet! I couldn’t sleep the whole night.

Completely disappointing – nothing like...

The hotel looks nothing like the photos. The lobby was tiny and smelled bad. I never checked in because the conditions were unacceptable, yet the staff tried to charge me unfairly. Booking.com confirmed they should not. Very dishonest management – I do not recommend this hotel.

We have chosen this property given the proximity to public transport such as Metro 6, the best line that gets you right to the centre of Paris. Then when we walked in, we felt really welcome by the lovely receptionist. I would say that the room was just right for me and my partner. If you would like more of a spacious space, I would say ask for a bigger room, we were there for 3 nights so it didn’t bother us. The hotel is so clean and staff are really nice.

The main door was manned at all times and when they weren’t around you can’t get in but only was an issue once

The room is very comfortable, has everything you need to rest, and is always clean — something I truly appreciated.

Everything about the room was incredible, but the staff — specifically the gentleman who attended to us — was not friendly at all, especially compared to the lady in the mornings, who was always very kind.

Perfect location for the metro line 6 and perfect location for breakfast at the corner of the street where we went both mornings. Very clean and comfy and has air con which was a blessing

Like it all although the rooms are small it is very comfortable and cosy.

Located near the train station. Lots of food and cafes within walking distance.

Rooms are tiny! I barely had room to fit my suitcase without sliding the bed to one side. The bathroom, also tiny. I don't like that we were hustled into paying 50 euros more for early checkin, when clearly the rooms were already vacant.
