Hipotel Paris Voltaire Bastille

Location and employees were awesome!

the room itself was very similar to the picture you see. Not the biggest but enough space for one or two traveller.The shower was very nice with hot water and the toilet was clean.The location was also incredibly nice as it was literally a minute from the station voltaire.The room was cleaned everyday so you could come back to a clean room after a long trip in paris.

There was no laundry service. Could've been nice if there was.The breakfast service was a little to simple. Croissant was excellent but it was all they kind of had with a boiled egg with yoghurt. Other than that it was to my satisfaction.

The shower took to long to heat on the hot water level. The room smelt terrible The lack of respect by other guests slamming doors and shouting

Fantastic location. Right next to a metro stop. Many restaurants and shops right outside.

It’s a bit dated, the rooms could use some maintenance. For example the shower rod in my bathroom was broken and the curtain hung down.

The location

Room (104) was moist and smelly. Sleep was only possible with fully opened windows. Bath was not cleaned properly.

The location is AMAZING. It is a few meters from Voltaire metro station and has DELICIOUS restaurants all within walking distance.

The worst part was just the door hinge squeaking haha.

Great central location with good and varied options for dining. Breakfast was quite sufficient. Metro stop just steps away. Friendly staff. Very good budget option.

Very difficult not to completely soak bathroom floor when taking a shower. No other complaints.

New, clean, good for a price, close to metro and some grocery shops.

Right beside the metro, close to great cafes, bars, McDonald’s. Staff all very pleasant, rooms very clean. Rooms cleaned, fresh towels and beds made each day.

Can be slightly noisy with doors banging loudly sometimes early in the mornings

The location was very good for our needs. The room was comfortable and clean.

The people in the room next to us were terrible. Loud and noisy all of the nights. Since the doors slam, it was very disturbing.

Great location in middle of the neigborhood. Bedding was clean and comfortable

A little more run down than I had pictured and thought for the price. Stairwell was tight and curvy and lift was very small. Door had a pretty big gap that made the room feel a bit insecure.

Everything was great at this hotel where I stayed for a week: the location, the staff's kindness, the comfortable bed and pillows, the cleanliness, and the quietness, despite being located on Boulevard Voltaire. The Wi-Fi worked very well, even though I was on the sixth floor.

I have nothing to complain about.

There were metro and bus stops near the hotel, so getting to different places was easy. Every street around the hotel had markets, cafes, restaurants, and bakeries. I think it is a safe area for a solo traveler; as a woman traveling alone, I felt comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the room temperature was good, and the room was spotlessly clean.

I’m not sure whether it was because the rooms or doors were very close to each other, or because the doors were too thin, but at night I thought that people coming to the rooms next to and across from mine were trying to enter my room by mistake, as the noise sounded as if it was coming from inside the room. Although there is public transport to tourist attractions, I would like to note that they are not very close, so walking is not really an option. I also would have preferred a shower cabin instead of a curtain, as the shower area is very small and the curtain keeps sticking to you.

The location was great.

No towel racks, bed not very comfortable, door didn’t close without a hard push.

Good location. Approx 1km from Gare de Lyon.Clean room and comfortable.

Nothing in particular. A bit of sound transmission between rooms. But it’s Paris !

The staff were very nice and helpful.

The room and hotel itself are drab and dreary, not exactly worth the price, but the location is good.
