Location was excellent just off the square

The room smelled I think of the carpet. No hot water, band no heating. Awful hotel.

Front desk staff, very helpful, and two stops to Gare de Lyon, so just what I needed. There's plenty of supermarkets nearby.

No lift, which I wasn't aware of. Spiral staircase made it hard to negotiate, with a large suitcase. .The room had a rustic charm but was basic by today's standards, no smoke alarm, etc.

We had an amazing stay at Nouvel Hôtel Paris. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are very comfortable, cozy, and relaxing — perfectly designed for a pleasant Paris stay after long days of exploring the city.What truly made this stay exceptional was Frédérick and the entire hotel staff. Frédérick deserves special recognition — incredibly welcoming, kind, and supportive, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we felt at home. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail genuinely elevated our experience. The whole team was super nice, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed.The location is another big advantage. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Nation metro station, making it extremely easy to reach all parts of Paris. The neighborhood itself is very safe, even when returning late at night, which gave us great peace of mind.Overall, it was a wonderful, smooth, and comfortable stay with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to Frédérick and the amazing staff, our time in Paris was even more special. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

Location was key. Needed something affordable and easy close to Sorbonne Nouvel University.

No lift (although we did know this in advance), curtains did not fully cover windows.

Location is easy to access and easy to take a direct metro to everywhere you want to go. The metro line covers all the popular location like museum louvre, museum orsay. Nearby there are many supermarket.

Staff were very friendly and efficient and the location was fantastic. Reception rooms and courtyard were also pleasant

Bedrooms were dreadful. Tired, outdated, in desperate need of renovation. Floors creaked with every step, stained and badly fitted carpet, walls were paper-thin so soundproofing was non-existent. Bathroom was tiny and old-fashioned, no mixer tap in shower so had to manually adjust each tap to get the right temperature and a shower curtain had been added to the enclosure presumably to prevent water escaping - but this is a pet hate - so unhygienic and unnecessary today with the range of shower screens available. No hairdryer - isn’t this a basic piece of equipment nowadays? Sliding door badly fitted on bathroom. Furniture was mismatched, wardrobe needed painting and some kind of upgrade, mismatched hangers inside added to the scruffy overall look and feel. No headboard on bed - just wallpaper made to look like panelling but peeling away from the wall. So disappointed! Thank goodness we booked well ahead and get a reduced rate of €150 rather than the €300+ listed as the usual room rate at reception!

Great location, close to a major subway, easy to get to the main attractions, beautiful neighborhood, beautiful building and hotel overall.

No fridge in the room, bathroom smelled quite musty, carpets were obviously old and the overall cleanliness of them was dubious.

Well connected area! The room was a bit tiny but very clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and very nice. I recommend this hotel for short stays!

Very dark room little bit more lighting would have been better. There's no lift facility available in the hotel. very challenging to move luggages to first floor. Very narrow passage.

Very well located, next to metro station, friendly staff, clean , comfortable bed and good breakfast. It was also quiet and we had a good sleep.

The hotel is pretty old, it’s a little bit old fashioned, and the floor creaked in some places

The location was great. Metro, bus right outside.

The hotel was very close to Nation station, which made traveling to the city quick and easy. I also enjoyed the view of the inner garden from our room.

The toilet was a bit small. There was no AC, but a fan was provided, which sufficed.

Petite chambre sans AC, sans frigo.No air conditioning and no fridge. Water in bathroom lukewarn, so no cooling there either , plus the room was on third floor without lift. So with 30 degrees in Paris this was an oven to live in. Not worth the money. Does not look like pictures either.
