About
The luxurious Hôtel Regina Louver is located in the heart of Paris in the fashion, shopping and museum district, overlooking the Louver. It first opened in 1900 for the world's fair and is located opposite Tuileries Gardens. Designed in an elegant style with period furniture, the air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, telephone and safe. Some rooms have views of Tuileries Gardens and the Louver. Free WiFi access is available throughout the hotel and facilities for making coffee and tea can be found in each room. Both continental and buffet breakfasts are prepared every day. Children from 6 until 12 years old can enjoy the buffet breakfast at a reduced cost. Guests can enjoy French, seasonal cuisine at the restaurant Salon Rivoli and dine on the terrace on sunny days. You can relax with a refreshing drink in the lounge bar, which has a characteristic British decor or indulge with luxurious teas and pastries. Room service, a limousine service and a 24-hour reception with concierge are among the additional services available at this hotel. Pets under 6 kg are also welcome. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Tuileries Metro Station, which provides direct access to the Opera Garnier and the Champs-Elysees. Place Vendôme and its luxury boutiques are located 2461 feet away. The Musée d’Orsay is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Pros +
- location, superb service from all staff.
- We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is absolutely perfect. From our window, we had a stunning view overlooking the Tuileries Gardens and even the Eiffel Tower — waking up to that view was truly special. The staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. What made it even more memorable were the thoughtful personal touches: our name displayed on the TV screen, a bottle of champagne, and complimentary sweets waiting for us in the room. These details made us feel genuinely valued as guests.Overall, the hotel delivered exactly what we expected — and hoped for. By the end of our stay, both my wife and I were extremely satisfied and left with only positive impressions.
- Staff very helpful and great attention to detail. Hotel spotless and location fantastic
Cons -
- Small suggestion - It would be helpful to add a clear label or brief explanation to the switch that controls room cleaning service, as it caused some confusion between us and the housekeeping staff in the morning.
- Staff where unfriendly, there was no water in the room and the bathroom had a tiny shower with a shower curtain which made the entire bathroom floor wet
- Plumbing grinding noise frequently interrupted sleep and was annoyingShower in tub was not desirable. Slip risk

Staff very helpful and great attention to detail. Hotel spotless and location fantastic
Beautiful location one block from Louvre and one block from Saint Honoree. Luggage was delivered quickly. Restaurant was pleasant and the food was excellent including the crepes suzette.

I had asked and paid for Eifeel tower view and when I arrived, the view was blocked by a large carasoul. construction every day friom 7 am
Great location to visit louvre and to walking around this area. Beautiful old building with amazing interiors. The breakfast was standard for Paris, but tasty enough. I loved the bed, it was flat and hard enough for a man with back’s problem.
I didn’t figured out how to turn on the electric battery in the bathroom.
Very central location
The view to the Eiffel Tower may be obscured by the large Ferris wheel in the Touleries. Important to check with the hotel to make sure your room has a clear view.
The staff are extremely accommodating, to the point where you can tell they are very well trained in solving problems to ensure all guests leave feeling looked after. We had wifi issues during our stay and the team did everything they could to fix this, installing a separate device for our room. We were also sent an apology note with a fruit basket which was a really nice, unexpected touch.
The hotel is a bit outdated and located in a very touristic area opposite the Louvre. While we liked the convenience, it was extremely busy foot traffic every time we exited the hotel so probably wouldn't book again based on the location.
Nice historical hotel. The location is stunning and the staff at the door and the valet were really friendly and helpful. Pretty view from the room.
Honestly after staying in many 5 stars recently that was the most disappointing experience. Starting by the concierge service… what happened to the “certainly Sir”?? In a 5 stars with such a large concierge team. To give you an example: you ask before Christmas for gift wrapping paper to wrap a gift, they simply answer they don’t have anymore. We are speaking of an hotel in the center of Paris with 100s of shop in the vicinity, not one secluded on a private island… The junior suite with Eiffel view felt a bit old and could do with a bit of a renovation also it didn’t look like what they advertised online (they advertised upper floor suite). Asked to see another room, they couldn’t show us anything until the next day.. but by lack of time and convenience we stayed in the suite we were provided at check out. A small minus: The hotel valet parking doesn’t offer any charging station for EV.
Loved the hotel character and old Paris charm. The location is wonderful, the Louvre, cafes, shops, etc. all right there.Would definitely stay here again.
They need to have a flat sheet on the bed. We cannot sleep with just a comforter, get too hot, then when the comforter is off, get too cold.
View from our room
They were very late in getting us in our room and our room smelled of some kind of cleaner.
Loved the Vibe And the historical, authentic feeling. Also the lobby is amazing
The elevators are limited
Beautiful building in a fantastic location! Interiors were immaculate & all the staff made us feel so welcome. Superb Concierge team, nothing was too much trouble. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
The wall fixed hairdryer was a bit of a challenge!
We loved everything about Regina Hotel, the perfect location that made exploring effortless, the welcoming and professional staff who made every moment feel taken care of, the clean and comfortable rooms with thoughtful details, and the relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. The breakfast was generous and delicious, the amenities were convenient, and the overall vibe combined elegance with comfort in a way that made the stay feel truly special. It was the kind of hotel experience where every small detail added up to something memorable.
Beautiful place, elegant and stylish, location is superb
The room was on first floor and had no view at all apart from a grey wall
Excellent location, beautiful hotel and very nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast.
Probably due to the age of the building it is not entirely soundproof, so we could hear people walking around (quite intensely) above our room.
Excellent location.,,clean.,comfortable.,ambience.,safe.,we have excellent stay..will be back..
It is nothing I don’t like..,
Everything was grand and extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and they try to accommodate your every need.
