Grand Hotel Chicago

Staff was very accommodating! We got back to our hotel late and wanted to order delivery. Many places were closed already so the concierge went out of his way to make us a meat/cheese/fruit tray, bless his heart!

I loved the location, the experience, the value of money but most importantly the staff. They were beyond pleasant and helpful and made my stay extra special

The staff were very friendly and helpful. breakfast was ok, and the neighborhood was safe for walking to the nearest restaurants. The hotel was 10 minutes' walk to the tour bus location and within walking distance of several options for food. We booked a family room and it was excellent with connected doors so we could keep an eye on the kids

there was noise from the room above late into the night. the ceiling appears to transmit a sound easily from pressure on the floor above. unlike me, my wife found it hard to sleep with all the noise

The staff was nice and understood our desire to check-in early after arriving from the US on a long flight.Good quality shower, loved the heated towel rack, the big windows and the Nespresso machine. Although this location was a little far from some tourist attractions, we liked being close to the subway and there were a decent amount of restaurants nearby.

Clean, comfortable, USB charging ports in the room was perfect, considering travelers don't always have converters.

The location was perfect. Subway close by and plenty of good restaurants around it. The staff was impressive.

My stay was overall great, mostly thanks to the amazing front desk staff they were incredibly helpful. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, and the rooms are quite small, but that’s Paris. If you’re just looking for a centrally located place with metro access, this is the place. Just don’t expect luxury.

The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.

The room size is too small. We went with a stroller and barely could walk in the room. The location is quite far from the main attractions but foot. They didn’t change the sheets.

Elevator issues ..

Great location , 3 metro lines close by within a short walking distance. Few stops from Montmarte and Arc De Triomphe the other direction. Room was very modern with quirky fixtures and the most comfortable bed . Reception staff were super helpful with route planning etc .

Honestly nothing…

The location: was right infront of rail tracks/ the room had no viewHouse keeping: terrible. They didnt even change our mugs or clean them for 3 days!! All they did was make the bed. The water bottles were filled.Elevator: we got stuck in the elevator and fell a couple of floors. You had to wait 5 mins for the doors to close.Room:The room was extremely small for two people. And the walls were very thin and you could hear everything from the other rooms.We booked this hotel based on the rating but honestly it was THE WORST hotel we ever stayed at. Felt like a 2 star hotel but they charged like a 4.Would not recommend.0/10

Future travellers beware: staff will steal your money kept in THE SAFE. We have 5,000 eur kept in the safe, my husband forgot to get the envelope in the locked safe so we called the hotel Director and gave her our safe password. Instead of going up with another staff, she gave the password to the hotel manager, he came into the room by himself. I’m not sure what happened but the envelope they gave us back only has 2,800 eur. They stole our 2,200 eur and offer no further investigation. We were shocked and never expected management level staff would have stolen money from hotel guests. The police report has been filed and it’s an active investigation

The hotel is very nice for a weekend stay in Paris, the location is also pretty good. The room is small but very comfortable

The cleaning service did not top up tea and coffee amenities, and there no slippers & bathrobes in the room although it is a 4-star hotel

Great staff, great location, super safe, friendly. Connection to Arc de Triumf and Montmartr with 15mins with metro.

Great location close to metro station and walking distance to nice cafes and shops. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
